Hey ladies! I have my op booked in about 3weeks and as much as I love my family they worry too much! I want to go alone? Is that possible? Has anyone gone alone? As bizarre as it may seem, I’d feel more comfortable this way. X

You can but you’re not allowed to leave alone. You must have a chaperone or they won’t let you leave. You can’t be alone for at least 24 hours after because of the anaesthetic. You will want someone with you as well. But I believe you’re allowed to arrive and have the operation on your own if thats what you really want. Haven’t you got any friends that will come with you? Xx

I was going alone and last minute my friend came with me. I wouldn’t recommend it! My friend helped me so much from sitting up to take the pressure off my back, sips of water and in general silly little things you wouldn’t think of you can’t donyourself! Xx

Hey, I had mine on Thursday and went alone. My mum collected me when I was ready to go home. It depends what would make you feel better, I don’t like any fuss and knew going alone would make me much more comfortable x
