Going crazy!!!!

Going crazy here! Know I’m only 10 days post op after BA and a Timmy tuck but I miss running and the gym soooo much! Bored of TV, films and magazine! Consoling myself with chocolate (oh dear!) and generally fed up! Just felt the need to rant lol. I’m so impatient… Only just managed to stand upright again so I know it will be a while before ill see the gym but I really do miss it!

aw just think its all worth it.. when u do get bk to normality u will be looking and feeling better than ever 🙂 hang on in there chick 🙂 xx

yea deffo hun.. it always helps to have a gd rant.. down days r to be expected.. im dreading it i’ll probs cry haha.. but its not often we get to sit around doing naff all so i’d make the most of it lol.. chin up chick u’ll be bk to urself before u know it 😀 xx

I’m in exactly the same position Hun. I’m now 19 days PO TT & BA. It is a long recovery & yes watching daytime TV etc gets very boring !!!! I just want to get back to normal. I know it sounds mad but I want to be running around after the kids, food shopping, tidying up etc, etc, etc. Hate relying on other people !!! I seem to be coming out the otherside now so hang in there girl, it’s all worth it

Aw @Sarah I know what you mean! My girls are 12 and I think they’re a bit sick of running around after me now! A nice shower would be good too! I have my first post op appointment on wed, assuming hell change the dressings? I’m dreading them being taken off. Did anyone call you post op Sarah to check on you? I’m ten days now and noone has called me (not with mya) I think it’s poor! Xx

No one gave me a follow up appt so I rang the office to get a date. My MYA co-ordinater rang me the day after my surgery. I have to say my aftercare has been really good. I’ve seen the nurse 3 times now & have another next wk due to a few concerns on my wound around my belly button. Where is your MYA clinic Catherine ? I’ve been going through Manchester.

Not with mya hun, went private at a hospital near me in Newcastle. Chose them cos my friend had an uplift and BA last year and had outstanding aftercare. I know my surgeon has been on holiday last few days but really thought the nurses would ring… They did my friend. Think ill ask him when I see him on wed. Xx

Lots of mixed stories on here about aftercare from MYA & other clinics. As with other reviews for holidays etc. I think it’s best to take your own experience & what you expect to get from it. So if you are not happy you should definitely question your hospital about your aftercare !!! Let me know how you get on at your post op appt on Weds. Xxx

Cheers hun, ill let you know. I know, everyone’s story is different. Disappointing as all the pre op and actual op was fab. Can’t fault surgeon. Xx
