Hi girlies, so I’ve got my op on the 28th of march and I’m meant to be going out on the 8th. Would I be able to wear a bandeau vest thing? or would I still need something quite supportive xx

Ur out on April 8th like a week after….?

Depending on what ur surgeon says u will have to wear ur support bra/ sports bra for several weeks plus u may have strapping or a breast band to deal with.

If thts the case it’s not advisable to remove this even for a few hours ur best to wear a shirt or jumper dress to hide all your post op armour. I wore my bra and strapping for 4 weeks ans still sleep at night with a crop top to support them because ur body is still getting used to the weight. Plus they are still very tender and just getting over the swelling.

The risk out weighs the benefits tbh. I’d speak to ur nurse but if it’s only a week post op I wouldn’t chance it myself! I’m 11 wks post op now.

yeah I’m not like going out for a big night I’m going to a gig to watch my cousin and probably for a drink after haha.

yeah I was thinking of just buying a t shirt dress or something, my surgeon doesn’t use strapping or breast bands. He recommends just wearing high impact sports bras xx

Yeh I reckon anyyhing that will be high on the front because tbh there won’t be much to see/show at that time due to them settling I’d defo avoid anything with cleavage!
