Just got my admission time, 2pm! It’s all starting to feel real now and has cheered me up after having to have my hair extensions out and nails off today in preparation!

Does anyone know roughly what time I will be out the hospital for after my operation?

    Hi Rebecca,
I had a 2pm admission time at Preston on 9th August and it all went really quick with seeing the surgeon/nurses/anaesthetist, I was taken down at 4 and back in my room by 5. Everybody at First Trust was so lovely and I was able to leave at 8.30. Hope everything goes well for you! Xxx

Hi Rebecca, it’s exciting when you get your admission time isn’t it! I had my op on Tuesday (16th) and my admission time was 1 o’clock. I went into theatre at 3.50. In between those times I was shown to my room, met the ward doctor, the aneasthiatist and surgeon and signed some forms. It went very quick but it was nowhere near as bad as I had imagined! When i came around I felt fine just tired as I had anti sickness drugs so I would defo recommend asking for them if you usually suffer from sickness. I had 375 unders and although they are rock hard I am really pleased with them. Good luck! You will be fine it will go so quickly! Xx

Hi Natalie, it sure is exciting! It’s so good to hear that your experience was quick and smooth, hope mine goes like that too. Think I will be definitely asking for the anti sickness drugs! Glad you’re happy with yours and hope you’re getting lots of rest and healing well. Xxx

    Hey

I had mine at Preston yesterday. Admission time was 11.00am, I went down just before 2.00pm so wasn’t too long a wait. The staff are amazing. I ended up staying overnight and they were so lovely & helpful.

    Good luck xx

    Hi

I was also 2pm and went down about 4:30pm. I chose to stay overnight which was lovely – warm and quiet room with regular visits and cups of tea!

Just don’t eat cherries like I did and lost a pip down my new cleavage!!!

    Exciting!

    Xx
