I had my op on Monday at Preston, it was such a fab day. A nurse will show you to your room and you’ll get changed into your gown knickers and stockings, a quick check over your medical history and will do your blood pressure and temperature. There are no blood tests done on the day. A ward doctor will come to see you again to go over the paperwork, your surgeon will come to draw on you and you’ll sign your consent form then the aneasnathist will come for you and walk you to theater. I can’t fault one thing from Monday all the staff were fantastic, you’re in good hands. Good luck xx

I’ve not suffered with pain really but been very sicky with the penicillin they gave me. I rang the nurse today and she told me I could stop taking them. I feel fab and I’m absolutely over the moon with my results. I had 350cc uhp overs and an uplift too. What are you having? Xx

I got stuck in a massive traffic jam and had to ring the hospital to say I was on the way. There had been a really bad accident and the motorway ended up getting closed. I got there half an hour late but the staff were great about it. I was shown straight to my room and got changed. My admission was 8am, got there at 8:30 and was walking to theater at 11:15. My op took longer than a normal BA but was back in my room by 2:15. The nurses can’t do enough for you and will keep popping in your room checking on you. I’d do it all again tomorrow it was a great experience. Xx

Second everything Jessica’s said! I was there on Monday as well. My only critisism was that there wasn’t a lot of communication to timings. I’d missed the traffic & was told i was 4th on the list but would possibly be bumped up depending on when everyone else arrived & that i’d probably have a 3/4hr wait. It ended up being closer to 7. Xan’t fault the care from the staff though & everyone was lovely xx

I don’t think it could be helped after the motorway issues – Mr Mounir was late as was everyone above me on the list! It was only living locally that meant i missed the traffic.

Starting to feel almost back to normal now. Had my worst day weds, but just feeling a little tight more than anything now. Buddha belly’s disappearing as well now which i’m happy about!

What size & placement are you having? Excited about it?xx

Which hotel is it you’re staying at? I’m local anyway so travel wasn’t an issue really – we didn’t go on the motorway so missed the accident traffic. To be fair once i was out of surgery the nurses were so attentive! Felt like there was someone coming to check on me every 5/10mins – my friend reckoned it was about every half hour so the GA probs messed up my concept of time! But didn’t have to wait too long after coming round to be allowed to go home, but with the delay in the morning i was there from 8am til gone 7pm xx

Is it the one in town? It’s nice & easy to get to from there 🙂 no, have to sleep propped up – there’s no way i could’ve got comfy sleeping flat. I’ve just made sure my chest’s been above the level of my hips, so haven’t been bolt upright. Last night was the first night i haven’t slept that well all week xx
