GP letter?

Hi Girls
how did you go about getting your letters from ur GP? My surgery is a nightmare and it takes 2 weeks to get an appointment! I need the letter asap as hopefully go ahead with the surgery on the 31st July. How long did it take for your letters to come through after your appointments? x

I didn’t need to get a letter myself. MYA contacted them about a week before my op x

Whats the GP letter for? X

My pc said that I need to get a letter from my gp to state that I’m in good health to proceed with the surgery x

Hi, Mya did it for me? They also didnt get it in time but i still had my op x

When do they ask you for this? Ive got my op in 2 and half weeks? Xx

Last week in my first consultation, they said it is a requirement and that my surgeon in particular wont go ahead without it. They said it can take some time so asked me to chase it up to speed things along! Really don’t want to go and speak to my gp about it tho! X

Whos your surgeon? Im seeing my surgeon again on Monday so ill ask him xx

I was asked to sign a consent form when I had my pre op a week before my op so that they could contact them x

Yeah normally just the once but he was 30mins late so he was rushing and i didnt ask everything i wanted xx
