Gutted :(

Hi guys just need some advice and opinions, so far I’ve been really happy with my nose but now the swellings gone down more I can see a bump still and I gently felt it and it’s bone not swelling 🙁 when I had my nose done he said he had made a curve and made it look very feminine but I do not have that 🙁 both my bf and dad have both said your bumps there it looks wonky and it’s just blew my confidence ! I feel like people are looking at me that know I have had it done and are like you still have a bump 🙁 I’ve been so careful not to bang it or do too much so I can’t understand shy now more swellings gone I have thus result I can’t see how even if there is. More swelling up can get smaller just feel like crying ! I don’t know if I should ring my PC or what rights I have I will try get a good picture to show the bump. I’m not trying to say anything bad about the company or my surgeon just really unhappy about it today 🙁

Awww hun, it could be swelling where he had to be more aggressive? You are only 3 weeks so maybe it could be swelling? Try and get an earlier post op appointment if you arem’t happy. Still a pretty nose xxx

Girls I am 4 days post Rhino and is it normal to have thick dried blood up the nostrils, sounds horrible sorry lol! xx

Thanks Hun well I thought that and thought it’s just swelling but it’s bone I can feel it so it isn’t going to be the nose he described I would I have 🙁 and considering how much We pay for this procedure and for people to say it doesn’t look right is hurtful. Can I do that ? I might email my pc now and see if she can do that for me. I kno I’m only 3 weeks so might sound silly hut when I see other peoples results at earlier stages you can see more of a result. Xx

I looked at your pics hun looks fab don’t be upset your only 3 weeks in! I reckon it will take a few months, yeah so annoying i feel so grimy! I had my boobs done too so can barley move ha! xx

I think your new nose is lovely and suits your face and there is still time for the swelling to go you are still early days yet but if you don’t like the shape and he’s not done what you wanted I would book in with him or try and contact him through your pc x

Thanks guys I just feel as though it isn’t as small as I wanted it and can’t see how I can get the curve I was told I would get when there is bone there not swelling. I have emailed my PC about it just to get their opinion. I was confident that when the swelling went down more I’d see a great result but the more it goes down the less I like it. 🙁 I will try get more pics of it to show my worries. It’s just crap when you waited so long and people are like you still have bit of a bump send stuff I try to convince them it’s swelling to make my self feel better but even they can see it’s not just the swelling.

I will normally I would just think well they had made an improvement but because I had my heart set on what he had said and was excited to be confident about my nose for the first time in a long time I feel a little heart broken when people close to me comment on it (not in a mean way just being honest) my pictures aren’t very good to show what I am meaning. I understand I was never going to get the perfect nose I wanted but for the price we pay I thought I would get pretty close! I am not putting the surgeon down in any way just hoped for better results. Thanks for your advice 🙂 i will keep ringing nd emiling till I get somewhere . Xx

Thanks Hun the first pictures I put on I love it’d just on the second page the last 3 I was hoping for a subtle but noticeable curve for a femine cute nose. I don’t know wether it’s the comments I have had that’s making me less confident about it. I know it is so much better than before though. Xx

I don’t want my comments to put anyone of surgery or to think bad of my surgeon or mya because I don’t regret having it done at all.

Thank you @lisa. Everyone’s comments are helping reassure me so thank you. I know how you feel it’s so exciting knowing you are getting closer to having a life changing op isn’t it ! 🙂 I think if I go see my surgeon just to have him reassure me I will feel a whole lot better. I just think when I show them before and after they see the difference but just annoying they can’t see it now if you get what I mean. I’m probably just being silly. Thanks Again though and good luck for your op !

Thanks Hun 🙂 yeah message me anytime the best advice I have been given was to take sore throat lozenge with me it helps you breath a little easier and soothes your throat after the op. I used halls they help a lot 🙂 thanks for commenting you have made me feel slot better xxx

Don’t worry mine took months to settle and look how I wanted and yours will too. It’s still early days so don’t worry just be patient and try not to let it get you down. If you’re still unhappy in 6 months then take it up with your surgeon. X

Hiya, don’t know if this helps but I had open rhino tip done 10 days ago and since the tape came off on day 6 I have noticed mine has swelled and looks pretty much the same before the operation! I just had tip work done to remove a slight bump/turn up and everyone has said it looks the same now but in first few days it was noticeably thinner, I think it is the swelling Hun honestly I’ve done abit of research and it seems that it takes a while to go down like approx 6 months until you see the end result more of a subtle change, hope all goes well for you xx and yes I had a lot of dried/ crusty blood up my nostrils most of it has come out but still have some now nearly 2 weeks after attached to the dissolvable stitches but it does slowly come out xxx

Don’t panic! Add me as a friend and look at my photos I’m post op since the 9th of December and you can see how much my nose has changed from having the cast off too now.. Xxx
