Hey girls, had my op at 9 am this morning. I have to say it really wasn’t as bad as I thought! All my worrying was for nothing. Felt petrified just as I was going to sleep and then woke up from what felt like a very nice sleep. I didn’t feel pain as I woke, just a tad discomfort and drowsy. But I couldn’t stop talking to the nurse!! I think that was the morphine lol. I’m home now and relaxing in bed, feeling quite drained but the pain isn’t bad at all… Just hope it doesn’t get worse tomorrow!! One of my boobs is a lot more swollen than the other.. But I think that’s normal? So far very happy with my size but I know teu have a lot of changing to do. I don’t want them to get too much smaller lol. For anyone going in soon, good luck and please do not worry. It’s rather nice being looked after! X

Cool! You must be over the moon! I hope mine don’t get too much smaller when the swelling goes! I’m loving their size at the moment. One of mine is loads more swollen than the other though. That’s pretty normal isn’t it? As they drop at different times and stuff? Xx

Hi Rachael, I had my op yesterday in London. I could not sleep last night woke up every hour. Today I feel very swollen and sore. I have been taken my pain relief. I feel as if one of my breasts is slightly more swollen than the other.
Lets hope it gets easier xx

Hey Kara, yeah one of mine feels more swollen but its gone down a bit from yesterday. I also feel very swollen like round the sides under my arm pits. I woke up a couple of times last night. The meds have made me a bit sick and I’ve lost my appetite but trying to eat for some fuel lol. It’s only day 2, onwards and upwards from here 🙂 can only get better. Hope your recovery goes well xxx

Hi Rachel. What size did you get ? I ended up getting 375 cc overs. I have not seen them as yet. Cannot wait until Friday to see what they look like. I was so pleased with care I got at the hospital in London the staff were fantastic. I would recommend to anyone from start to finish they have been great so far. I hope you are feeling better with the meds try to drink plenty of fluids as well as eating.

I had 360cc partial unders. I don’t have strapping on but wearing my macom all the time. I’ve taken it off for when I wash and had a quick peek. They are very swollen at the moment but I’m happy from what I see so far 🙂 can’t wait got them to drop. Do you feel like you have swelling around the sides as well? Like kind of under your armpits but a bit lower? As that seems to be where most of my pain is. Taking the meds regularly with lots if water 🙂 they make me feel a tad sicky but nothing too drastic xx

That area might be where your drains were Rachel, I found that the under armpit/side area was uncomfortable. Also when the incisions were healing I found my drain areas the itchiest, drove me mental and I looked a right weirdo walking around scratching my underarms and under boob lol xx

Hi Rachel, that’s exactly were mine is swollen . I feel as if the left one is slightly more than the right. I have been sleeping sitting up in bed with lots of pillows. Had a much better sleep last night only woke twice. You are lucky not be stapped up. Do you feel as though there is heat coming off them. How is your scars looking ? I was out of it when my surgeon came to see me so I did not get to ask him about my scars or how it went. Did you get to speak to yours afterwards?

Yeah my left feels more swollen than the right as well! I don’t feel like I have heat more just very swollen and feels quite stiff to move, really strange to explain lol. My back is quite stiff so im gently trying to roll my shoulders to loosen them. I haven’t seen my scars yet as they have dressings on. I’m seeing my nurse Friday to have the dressings changed so guess ill see them then. I didn’t have drains, so I think that the swelling under my armpits is what is usually removed by the drains if you have them. Xxx

I had drains in, they were removed on the same day. I don’t understand why some have drains and some don’t. Is it to do with your surgeon ? I think i am going to have a lazy day and get pampered.
