Hi girls, I had my strapping removed yesterday – 7 days post op and after having a pretty pain free and easy first week, I have been in the most pain I’ve had for the last 24hrs.
The nurse was pleased and said everything was looking good, my incisions are healing well and no pain there but I now feel like I’ve been hit by a bus in my chest – did anyone else find this when they had theirs removed? Is this normal?
I had two different sized implants, the smaller seems to be settling and getting more comfortable but the larger is rock solid and so sore. I’ve had to start taking the painkillers that I was given by Highgate that I didn’t touch last week 🙁

Babe mine hurt so much when I had my strapping removed, it’s like they had begun to settle and then when they were unwrapped my macom felt like it couldn’t support them and the pain returned. I wouldn’t worry though mine settled down again after a couple of days, its just your body getting used to taking the weight of them I think and your incisions getting used to being exposed! Are you pleased with them?! x

Thanks Hayley, good to hear it’s not just me! Yes I am very pleased – everything seems to have gone well so far. Am feeling a little lopsided as one is dropping and softening quicker than the other but was expecting that and I’m sure they’re going to be great – I trust Mr Singh completely and they’re already a million times better than what I started with.
Still trying to get my head round the fact that I’ve finally had it done after years of wanting it so badly!! How long post op are you? Who/what did you have? Your profile pic looks fab. x

Haha, I look forward to that morning! I was wanting to correct asymmetry so had different sizes and profiles – TSM 375 in the right and TSX 470 in the left – am very pleased, can’t wait to see how they turn out! Good luck with the rest of your recovery 🙂
