Haemophilia Carrier?

Hi girls, was wondering if anyone is also a haemophilia carrier? (Blood clotting disorder) I’m having my clotting levels checked on Friday and hopefully will get the results next week. I’m dreading it, I’ve got my heart set on 415cc natrelle high profile unders. Currently a 34A/B. If my levels are too low then it’s too complicated for me to have surgery 🙁 xx

Hey I have a blood disorder my blood clots too quickly (protein s deficiency ) I had my ba 11days ago all went well,I had mr schavoine. They will just take extra precautions. Good luck x

Hi Emma. That’s great news! Thank you for replying, I’m so nervous about getting my blood level results back. What surgeon did you have? Do you mind explaining about the precautions? My PC said there’s nothing to worry over but the hospital want to run some tests to see if I’m ok for surgery. I want this more than anything! Xx

I work for the NHS and they can operate whatever u have they just need to take extra precautions x

Hi smoggs 🙂 really? Thank you I feel more at ease now. Have you had any dealings with haemophilia carriers before? The last time my levels were checked I was the low end of normal at 50%. This was over 10 years ago so I hope this hasn’t changed! Xx

Hey I’ve had a issue with blood clots! Suffered a blood clot on my lung whilst was pregnant so was put on blood thinning injections for about a year. Just fully inform the surgeon and he will inform you what measure will be taken in all cases. They also request a full copy of medical reports from your gp/hospital x

Hi katrise, hope you’re fully recovered now? Thanks for the reassurance 🙂 I’ve felt like the only girl who’s got a blood disorder until I made this thread. I’m the opposite… there’s a chance I won’t clot enough! I’m having a chat with the nurse tomorrow who’s doing my blood tests and I should have an answer next week. I’ll keep you updated 🙂 xx

Hey! Yes I’ve fully recovered! Just one of those things ayy! I bet u will be fine! If you wasn’t a surgeon wouldn’t touch u! On the other hand hope your results come back fine x

I had my check up and they’re absolutely fine for me to go ahead with the surgery as I have no history of excessive bleeding (especially when I had wisdom teeth out) yay!!! 🙂 just waiting for my blood results but the nurse said they shouldn’t of changed since last time. I’m off to my mya consultation at 11 today and I can’t wait 😀 xxx
