I am 1 week post op and have noticed that the vein in the back of my hand where I had the needle for my drip and to be put to sleep is really hard. It’s about 1cm away from where the needle was and it just feels really hard and strange. The skin around it is yellow looks as if it’s bruised. I thought it would soften back up and go back to being spongy but it hasn’t its stayed hard. Anyone know what this is? Should I go and see my doctor? X
Hi hun , my was like this after 2 of my cesarean sections , its just the vein blocked , it will disperse itself after a few weeks , but gentle massaging of it daily helped !
