Hello I’m new to this forum and was just wondering has anyone been refused surgery due to being low on iron? (Anemic), I received a miss call and a voicemail from one of the nurses from MYA saying they would like to speak to me regarding my iron results they’ve done a blood test a few days ago, I know I’m low on iron but didn’t think it would be an issue for breast enlargement, has anyone experienced the same thing or similar? If so could you please tell me what happened? I also paid £1000 deposit and my surgery is on the 10th November paying via finance I don’t want to lose my deposit as that was to secure my op date and my £500 discount. Thanks xx

I’m sure it will be fine, they have to check your doctors records to make sure theres no health problems which will put you at risk of havin an anaesthetic, my blood pressure kept reading high but was okay on the day, if you do have low iron they will probly ask you to take iron tablets but it shouldn’t stop your surgery. Maybe a goo idea to see your GP and get your iron sorted out a.s.a.p.
