im 9 days PO, and im freakin out that iv got CC. my left boob has always felt different to the right, and i know you have to treat them as 2 different ops anyway, but its really weird. the only way i can explain it is, im more aware of the implant in my left boob, and if i move or shake myelf, it feels like a water balloon?? iv rang the nurse, but she said only worry if its hard and painful…? but they both feel hard and still pretty bruised. and when i bend forward it hurts my left boob more too. ?
please tell me if there is anyone who has felt similar or can give me any other reason? im just worried that its not right and im going to have to have another op, 🙁

Ahh bless ya hun, I wouldn’t think of cc that straight away as your only 9 days post op and even though I’m not a professional but, signs of capsular contraction is when the breast feels really hard really painfull and looks abnormal shape that’s a grade 4.
Grade 1 looks normally soft and natural
Grade 2 is a little firm but looks normal
Grade 3 is firm and looks abnormal
If your implant doesn’t move freely and is hard then it is diagnosed as cc and also if it’s higher position then usual.
Hope this helps xx
what your going through is normal, I had the same my left boob always felt different to the other so I thought I had CC , but it is true you do have to treat this differently as the are separate ops, it will get better though, my left feels totally normal now but when it did feel weird I was freaking out, your really early days as well they wont be soft yet, its taken 4months for mine to get nice and soft xx
thank u girls, im such a worrier and panic at anything lol. and thank u Rinx, thats chilled me out knowing yours felt different to each other. I spoke to another girl who had hers done, and she said it could be an air bubble in the pocket too? i just wish i could fast forward now to them being healed/settled etc. hope its ok to add you both xx
I was the same my left boob felt like a water bed and like it was wobbling around for about 2 weeks and my right never did so I panicked too. But mine are fine now, weird things will happen I try not to over analyse anything because at the end of the day it’s surgery. They will just be settling into place 🙂 enjoy them! X
yey!!! 🙂 lol thank you!! its really weird, feels like such a jiggling lol. im so glad other ppl have felt this 🙂 im gonna try and chill out now, and stop thinking bad things lol. hope u dont mind the add also xpink91x! xxx
Course not I’ve accepted! 🙂
I totally panicked when I felt it, I thought the implant had fallen out his pocket and everything haha dramatic or what!! Xx
thank chick, haha i know , i always think the worse! urs look amazing now so i’ll be happy when im healed etc! im still so bruised and sore! xxx thanks for chilling me out x
Hi aprile i have been feeling exactly the same. Im now 14 days post op and my right boob has always been more hard and higher whereas my left seems to be dropping and healing lovely. A few days ago i felt like the implant was sitting on the right side of my boob, almost like it had lost its place! This feeling has now gone. Dont worry yourself as this is all part of the healing process and will be experiencing strange sensations. xxx
They say as well the hand you right with that side will feel a lot different as your using those muscles as the muscles from your neck down to your thighs are all connected so where you don’t use the left side as much as the right your boob will feel weird as it’s muscles that has ne’er been touched before etc if that makes sense xx
Accepted you darl xx
thank u sally-anne: glad urs is feelin normal now lol.. i ant wait for mine to be like that now :z
and that does make sense! i had a back piece tattoo done and it hurt more on my left side, and the tatooist said it was because i was right handed the muscles are stronger down the right side of my body. so would make sense my left boob isnt takin this as well as my right boob! lol thank u girls 🙂 xxxxx
CC wouldn’t show this early sweet so I wouldn;t worry! Once your implants are placed your body creates a scar tissue capsule around the implant, this capsule shrinks slightly as time goes on, CC occurs when the capsule shrinks considerably and constricts the implant, all of this takes a little time so it’s no worry ^_^ Feeling this way is totally normal, I think at first we all think we have every complication going haha! The healing process is a long road and we go through so many changes down the road! Happy healing!
