Thanks Sarah. I think If I was going to have the op it be endow summer as husband work will drop off a lot and he can look after kids. Wow your brave with the twins. Have they given a limit until when you can get back in sort of normal routine with the kids x

I’m 19days post op and I have a 1 year old, my husband took 2weeks off work and he went back Monday and I’m coping better than I thought I would! The babys not walking yet and he’s a big boy so iv just tried to keep lifting him to a minimum for now until my 6 week check xx

That’s good it going well. My lil one be 1 in two weeks and he massive (soon I put him in 18-24months clothes) he a cuddler and wants to be held. He not walking yet but maybe when he walking he be happier. That’s my only concern is he wants me to hold a lot x

I have a heavy 7 month old. I’ve been fine with him. Husband went back to work after 10 days, and I’ve been lifting him and doing everything since 8 days post op, and been back working part time as a beauty therapist & makeup artist as of 11 days post op xx

Hi Liz! I’m 7 days post op, I have a 3 yr old and a (clingy) 1 yr old. I’ve had help this week from family so have avoided picking up and lifting for now. It hasn’t been too bad, my youngest hasn’t been whinging for me to be picking her up which I was suprised at. I think by Monday (12 days post op) il be back to my normal routine and will have to do the nursery run walking with the pram. Hoping I will be ok without help from Monday xxxxx

Hi Liz, I am 6 days post op with a 3&2 yr old. My partner has taken 2 weeks off to take over. I would advise he takes holiday/time off.
You don’t know how you may feel and I bavent had the easiest time since op…2 nights in and then excessive swelling. (I thought I would find it a breeze being non stop most days)
Only today- I have even started light household chores and pottering around.
I guess you just don’t know how you will heal. Personally it’s been a huge relief to see the children happy and content with not too much worry or change x
