HEADACHES ! anyone else ?

I’m POD9 and every morning for last 5 days I’m waking with terrible heads. The tension type. Anyone else getting them? Could this be connected to the anaesthetic as I reacted really bad to it after with sickness and vertigo. It’s so frustrating, ,my boob pain dropped off and now this. So fed up 🙁 could now be getting on with my life as had it so rough but now this has put me back in bed with icepacks and migra cap on . (Just temp relief from them ) Nothings working x

Have you contacted the nurse or rang the clinic? So sorry you feel like that :/ But bear in mind everyone heals differently, and given that you went in your op slightly ‘weaker’ than others maybe it has affected your recovery. Nevertheless I would suggest to check it out. Did you have any appointment since the op? X

@ntenisa Thanks for your reply. I’m going into the clinic tomorrow so will discuss. I went in at POD5, it was after that the headaches ramped up. They go at night, like now I feel clear headed. I dread waking up as that’s when the intense pain starts. I think sleeping upright may be contributing to it as I’m a serious side sleeper. Phewww roll on these weeks ! Thanks for your kind words. I had headaches for s few days after I stopped taking the codeine tablets they gave me , sounds just like what you’re describing.

@Jen let us know what they say in the clinic, hopefully its nothing but non-side sleeping effect, or just a recovery thing. @stefanie are you having the same pain as Jen? Hope a speedy recovery for both of you ladies! Xx

Hi Ntenisa , I’m. It getting the headaches any more but I pit it down to the codeine so came off them, they went away after a day or 2.
