    Hi all,
    i know this has been asked severl times before, but I am still in a spin about what bras to get for post op!
    A couple have said the mya ones, and they look lovely so didn’t know whether they would be good for about 2 weeks in, i’ve got a macom, but worried it will be too uncomfortable or i’ll just want to chamge it up a bit. Its so hard not knowing what size to get so preferable just wanted a back size one. So confused!!

    Hun I had my op yesterday and bought the mya ones soo far soo good super comfy feeling just like a normal bra but supportive at same time I’ve got a Macom aswell but didn’t like the feel off that pre surgery so don’t think I’ll be wearing that one think I’m gonna stick with the mya bras xxx

    My nurse actually advised me to get a M&S bra and that the MYA bras are over priced, they are £60! And a lot of people have said M&S bras are the best, so I would opt for going to M&S and seeing if you can find any there as they would be so much cheaper but still good quality!

    Yeah the nurse said that to me two but you get 2 bras with mya so can change one and wash one the m&s one is £25 and if your like me will want to to wash one and keep one on works out more or les the same I choice the mya ones basted on the fact I didn’t know what size I was gonna be and still don’t know what size I am now xxxx

    @staceymlx
    thats why I was looking at the mya ones, they look really comfy and you do get two. What size back are you and what size bras did you ask for?
    M and s put me off for the moment due to not having a clue what size cup to buy and I didn’t want a load that I bought and wasted! x

    I’m a 36 back normally and bough the large mya bras and they fit soo nice once swelling goes down aswell I will be able to fasen it at back tighter aswell I’m so glad I bought the mya ones as they are super comfy and yeah that’s why I didn’t by the m&s ones didn’t wanna waste money on diff ones esp as you could buy an m&s one and it fit while you have swelling but then be too big once swelling goes down as with th mya ones they mould to your cup size so will fit for as long as you want to wear them xxx

    I am 2dpo and currently sitting with a macom on. Starting to find it quite uncomfy as my stomache has bloated right out and obviously my boobs are swollen, feels like its sitting right on my insicions. Thinking of going to matalan tomorrow for one of their bras as they are meant to be good xx

    I haven’t had my op yet so I’m not 100% on what’s best but I have bought 2 mya bras as I’ve read so many good things about them… also my surgeon refused to put a m&s bra on one of her girls and made her buy a mya bra to go home in! My surgeon is dr lutz.. There’s also many girls who are still wearing there mya bras for comfort months on from having there op..xx

    I’m going to buy the mya bras too. Heard lots of good reviews and like the idea of being able to adjust to size for swelling x

    Hiya Lauren, just throwing in my 2 cents lol I was a bit obsessed pre op buying all the fancy branded bras like Macom, Recova, high impact sports bras etc and I took a selection with me on the day for my surgeon to pick from. She ended up choosing some ASDA front fastening post surgery bras which cost £15 for two! another brand ive been living in whilst those ASDA ones are in the wash is called renolife by annette, thats just done on back size and is cotton so is very comfy!! I got mine on amazon where they were a little bit pricier but you can get them on ebay very reasonably priced xx

    Dunno if anyone’s said but I got a Macom and a Recova (my surgeon recommended Recova) and I LOVE the Recova ones. They’re more bra shaped and front fastening. Can’t recommend more!!

    Hi Lauren, I had my surgery yesterday, I was so confused over what sports bra to buy, I ended up going for the M&S one and it feels really supportive and comfortable. L xx

    I’m 4 days post op and I’ve only been wearing my macom bras so far I couldn’t stand having the mya ones on, I think the mya ones will be more comfortable once I’ve got all my bandages off but the macom ones are my fav so far xxx
