Yesterday I had 400cc unders and they look amazing well what I can see but I’ve got strapping. It literally feels like s tun of bricks on my chest but no pain as such.

Well that’s until I have my bra on. The biggest I got was 34DD as I was expecting to have the 375cc Max but he thought 400 was better. The bra is SO tight I’m having to take tiny breaths other wise I’m in agony from the tightness.

The nurse said it was ok yesterday before leaving but my boobs seem to have swollen more so I’m worried such tightness will end up being a bad thing.

Is it meant to be so tight or do I need to send someone out for another bra? I’ve had to undo it for the last ten minuets as I couldn’t take anymore but the strapping is obviously keeping them in place..

I have the exact same problem my bra fitted me fine before I left… Now they’ve swelled so so much!! My bra is tight… I’m usually a 34a so I got a 36DD

I’m defo going to get another size today because it’s meant to be comfortable as well as supportive

Hope your op went well and your happy with the results xx

@Jessica and @Sammi, hi girls… I had this issue, fir the first three days my bra just got tighter and tighter until I couldn’t bare it. I figured out it was the back fit of the bra rather than the cup size that I needed to adjust so I ordered an Asda and an M&S bra online. The asda I went for larger as I figured it’d be only for while I was so swollen so the cheapest would do. I felt sooooooo much better once I put my boobs into it until a few days later when my selling had reduced enough that I felt the bra wasn’t supporting me enough and swapped it to the M&S sports bra.
Getting the right bra is so important!! The only time I’ve been in pain during this process has been when my bra hasn’t been doing its job right.
Good luck and happy healing xx

I had the same problem , couldn’t zip up my bra 344DD , luckily I bought 34E and a Macom bra . I’ve just had to purchase 2 sports bras from Asda .,your bra shoukdn’t be too tight , it’s suppose to fit comfortably so that it supports your breasts.

Thank you Cava, ive got my mum out on a bra hunt this morning. I think she’s going to get one with cup size bigger and one with back size bigger. Typically I have a range but all smaller than the one I currently have on. I’m sure I’ll fluctuat lots over the weeks to come so ive stuck with asda ones until I figure out the right sizing. The Malcolm’s far too small right now

Yeah my Macoms were far too small so I got qa load of M&S ones, I absolutely love them, so comfy and supportive. I also bought 2 M&S post op bras just so I could wear scrappy tops if I have occasions to go to while I’m healing.
How was your op? Yesterday wasn’t it? x

Thanks ladies! Yes went very well, I’m chuffed with them although I can’t see much with the strapping.

The left is slightly bigger than the right and having little shooting pains but nothing bad through the left. I wouldn’t say I’m in pain just uncomfortable, very heavy chest.

I feel in much better proportion with my frame already. Can’t praise Fitzroy enough! My pc even text this morning to ask how I’m feeling so seems like the aftercare will be good too. I no a few women have felt like once they’ve got your money they stop caring but I haven’t experienced that at all myself and paid in full on booking.

Just to eager to get the strapping off now lol
