    Hiya

So I had my op yesterday and felt fine, woke up pretty stiff this morning as expected. I’m taking paracetamol at the moment as only want to take codeine when I really can’t stand the pain because I don’t like the sound of the side effects. I am having pains in my shoulders and arm pit area as well as the sides of my boobs when I walk. They feel really heavy and sore. If I put my arms forward to open the door or anything I have a sharp pain down the side. Does this sound normal? I don’t want to push things so if it doesn’t sound right then I literally need to go back to bed and stay there. Sorry this probably sounds so dramatic but I just need some reassurance. Thanks xx

Yeah hun it’s normal as you’ve had stitches under your implants, it’ll burn and sting 🙂 xx

Yes all normal huni. Just rest lots first couple of days. Your body has a lot of adjusting to do. I am now 6 weeks and I know what you mean about reassurance. Every little pain twinge I got I panicked. It does get better and you will love the end results. Happy healing 🙂 xx

Hi Lauren I had mine done Saturday I am aching loads and struggling using my arms lol I feel so useless but from what everyone says this is normal. Try not to do too much as you don’t want to hurt yourself unnecessarily! I’m
Taking the painkillers and haven’t found any side effects only that I haven’t been to the toilet since as I’m feeling constipated! Xxx

Thank you all 🙂 definitely reassured me! I think I may start taking to painkillers as it is getting worse. Probably because I am properly awake now and have been walking around xx

That’s why I didn’t want to take the painkillers! I’m going to brave it out this afternoon and see how I feel. If not great then I’m going to take some before bed as I didn’t have a good night and am getting grumpy! Maybe try not take the painkillers for a bit and see you feel? Probably better to take ibuprofen though just in case it is bad and need to take the codeine as well, as that has paracetamol in so you would end up taking too much xx
