    Hey girls,
I’ve just rang my GP as I want to be organised and take a doctors letter to my pre op so I can just give it to the nurse and so I know everything’s ok!
Gp have told me I need to give it to them in writing what I want in the doctors letter.. what exactly do I ask the doctor to write/confirm in the letter??

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure I was told that they write to the doctor out of courtesy but it isn’t essential that they reply. It’s just To let then know and add it to your record x

Everyone will have medical records from doctor butmya will get that. If they want a doctors note they will fax the doctor to confirm more details. If unsure say you want a copy of your medical history which they can’t refuse and take that withyou. If you have had anti depressants counselling or anything like that low iron etc within the last three years call your nurse and get her to send a fax before your appt. doctors can be difficult with these things I had problems with mine.
