I also got told even I you didn’t breat feed it was 6 months til the milk dried up altho mine took almost a year to dry up but he says I can have my op now I think everyone’s different. But when I looked into another company before I chose to go with mya my son was only 4 months and they was willing to just do the op then xx

Hi Emma when u asked the questions what did most ppl say? I was hoping I would be ok within 4/5 days to be able to pick him up but now I am thinkin I won’t be able to 🙁 which will be hard as I won’t be able to have full time help I have a meeting with surgeon tomorrow so I will find out if I am eligible to have the op soon or if I need to wait a while. How old was ur son wen u first went to mya n did they say u should wait ? Xx

Hi. Most people have told me around 7 days and a few said 4 one girl told me after day 2 she could lift him but not for long ad a put a little strain on chest, so I just suppose everyone is different. I’m hoping I am pick up my little boy as soon as possible too as I’m a single mummy and after 3 or 3 days help after my op it will be back to just me and my little one so I am hoping il be able to lift him and things by then, he’s also very clingy wanting to be lifted all the time and climbing on me and things and can be a little rough at times bless him so just hoping by day 3 its going to be ok. I was around 5 months after having my son when I looked into going wit mya and the person on the phone told me its 6 months after having a baby even if I didn’t breat feed but when I went for my consultation they said it should be fine so I’m not so sure maybe it depends what your surgion thinks? I also think it depends if you having overs or unders as overs block the milk but with unders you can still breast feed as far as I have been told . My op is Boone for 16th dec and my son will be 11 months then so hoping all is ok. Sorry for the long message and goo luck 🙂 xx

That’s ok. Yea I’m hoping il be ok with him as not told many people about the op. yea u shouldn’t have to wait another 6 months I only did as my little boys been really ill and then had a disaster with the car so the money had to be used for that so iv had to save it all up again xx

Hi I’ve got a 18 month of boy and a 10 year old girl, hopefully my girl will help me out when she can and so will my other half, it just means I’ve got to manage on my own when he’s at work cuss he’s self employed and can’t take any time off. I spoke to another girl on here and she said she could pick her baby up after 4 days but very carefully but she did have overs and that’s what I’m having. Xx

Hiya hun, I had my op 10 weeks ago and I have a 2 year old. My partner had a week off work to help and after that I was just really careful how I picked him up etc. Just be careful not to put too much strain on yourself, I think if you just think before you lift anything (if you get me lol) and take your time you’ll be ok xx
