    Hi girls ?

So I’m now over a week post op. Everything went okay and I’m loving my new set ?? although I am having so much trouble sleeping upright. During the night I just end up sliding down, no matter how many pillows I use or supports. When is it you can eventually sleep on your back? I’m dying to get back to sleeping on my sides lol!!!

And another thing.. Baths? When is it advised to have one? ? missing my comforts ? xx

Not sure about the sleeping but nurse said you can have a shallow bath from day 1 just make sure your incisions/upper half stay dry xxx

I slept on my back/side 1 week PO as I was in agony sleeping upright! I’ve also been having baths since 3 weeks PO as I missed a long soak so much. As soon as your incisions are closed you should be fine but you will be fine having a shallow one beforehand, just make sure youre not leaving your incisions to soak in the water xxx

Hey Hun my nurse said NO BATHING OR SWIMMING until you’ve had your 6 wk check. You run the risk of infecting your wounds if they not completely healed. I wouldn’t risk it Hun, just not worth it.. Sleeping I was told to sleep upright bare minimum 2 weeks, them slightly lower but still on back. I started sleeping on my side bout week 4 PO.. It really is important to do everything advised as you don’t want to risk aything, especially if a revision is needed down the track for any reason. Xxx

Thanks for the advise girls!! I went for my 7 day po appointment with the nurse and was totally amazed. My incisions were healing great, no scabbing and like two tiny spots of blood on my plasters but they were from day of surgery. I’m three weeks post op as of yesterday. God it’s flew in ?? I’m just running a bath just now! I can’t wait ? xxxxx
