HELP!!! Preparing for surgery

What do i need to bring with me??? and when can i shower after the operation and how? do i wear the sports bra on top of the bandage they will wrap me up in? i have so many questions and my PC is away!! wahh.. also admission time?? my operation is on Friday and still haven’t heard anything??

You will get your admission time possibly weds or thurs. is it day case or over night? I took loose clothing to come home in, some leggings and a zip up hoody, took my support bras, toothbrush and toothpaste as general can make your mouth dry and leave a funny taste, plenty of magazines for while you are waiting, although there is a tv in the room..they say to have a shallow bath not shower, but I got my husband to hold to shower head and make sure my boobs didn’t get wet. As I had unders and the first few days wouldn’t have been able to lift myself out if the bath..I was a day case. Hope this helps 🙂 xx

Hi 🙂 u will need to take :
A top u can fasten from the front (hoody or something)
Your dressing gown and slippers
I’m taking a pillow for travelling home (to soften the seatbelt)
Some magazines
Depending on ur surgeon a sports bra (some surgeons wrap u in bandages so u won’t need one but I know some just put a bug white plaster over the incision so will need ur support bra)
Comfortable clothes to travel home in
That’s all I have packed i hope thats every thing lol…
U can’t shower or get your incisions wet for a week after.. Best to wait to see what ur nurse tells you at urs one week post opp appointment…
My opp is tomorrow and only got my admission time yesterday, I rang them then they got back to me, don’t worry any questions u have post on here I think the girls on here are very helpful 🙂 good luck! Xx

No ur opp will be between 1-3 hours after ur admission time. And I no its sooo exciting isn’t it.. I’m in in the morning! Can’t wait! Xx

same i just got my admission time 10am wooo now the excitements kicking in!!!!
