Okay so I’m 4 days post op and my strapping has peeled away on my right side, it’s still secure round my boobs themselves and the incisions but the drain incision is now visible. I’ve stuck it back down with big plasters but obviously the strapping itself isn’t as tight as what it should be. It’s due to come of altogether on Friday so do you think it will matter? Thanks in advance xxx

It’ll be fine. My friends strapping came loose so she called the nurse and she ended up taking if off a little bit earlier (she was advised this) You’ve only got just less than 2 days so it’ll be fine, jus don’t get anything wet x

Mine is loose, I’m 3 days post op and the top has split so I’ve had to cut it off and both sides and the bottom are flapping, don’t think it’s going to last till Monday x

My nurse has said I can remove mine myself in 4 days po. Also remember some surgeons don’t use strapping, so it isn’t the end of the world xxxx

My strapping is so tight it’s restricting me from breathing and I always find myself out of breathe .( wish mine was looser

Mine started off like that Jamie but then it stretched quite a bit, try putting a sports bra on and stuffing ice packs down the sides. I did that from my 2nd day and I swear it’s helped loads with the pain. I’m day 5 and haven’t took any painkillers at all today, just get the odd tingling xxx
