Hi girls! Had my consultation with my surgeon, and he offered me two different size round implants 265 and 295. This is to help correct my uneven ribcage shape as i have a slightly curved spine. I have one side of my ribcage is straight on and the other is sloped downwards a little bit, this means my nipples point in a slightly different direction. I was only offered a smaller size implant as he said if i went any bigger the more obvious this problem will apparently become. Im starting to really worry that they could look bad 🙁 Also he said i need to have overs because if i go under the muscle they will be much too far apart, but i really want a natural look and i worry i wont have enough breast tissue to cover the implant and it will be obvious?

Has anyone had a similar problem? Really would love to see some pictures or hear if anyone has experienced this and come out the other side happily!

Hi hun I have chest wall asymmetry and ive met two surgeons. The first one told me he would only offer me 250cc due to my uneven chest wall as he said any bigger and it will look even more obvious that it will with having 250cc. I met another surgeon for a second opinion and he offered me 295/320/350/375 cc implants and said he would use different sized implants on the day if he needs to. I’m having 375cc to make me in proportion with my bottom half. After my first consiltation I left thinking that I wanted to cancel as I didn’t want one boob completely different to the other but after my second consultation I feel confident I’ll be happy with the results x

Not sure if u had surgery yet but I had the asymmetry things too my surgeon said unders would make it noticibke and overs look fake and can ripple I was gutted as I wanted it to be plain sailing I chose to go under regardless and after surgery my surgeon came in smiling saying it’s actually improved and now both my breasts look the same and he used 350 in both so sometimes it’s worth the risk to go with your gut feeling they just have to warn u incase it does look worse and I think more are improved but they have to cover their backs by telling us the pros and cons hope this helps
