    Hello,

Ive forgot the type of bra I need on the day!
Is it a post op kind or can you get the ines that zip at the front?
Sports bra kind that zip at the front?
Does it need to have a underwire or no underwire?
I got told to try M&S but wasnt sure which style I needed!
Whats the brand that does the bras again , one begins with M I think??

    Thanks 🙂

I was strapped up straight after surgery so didn’t wear a bra for the first week until I had my strapping taken off by the nurse at my 1 week post op appointment. I asked my surgeon what bra to get and he said the asda one with zip was a popular one and it sits well with your incisions too so I got some of those. They do them in different colours and they are only £8. The macom ones are supposed to be good too though but they cost over £40 including delivery and because my surgeon said about the asda ones I got those. One of the good things about the macom ones though is you don’t need to know what cup size you will be as they are only measured in back sizes and the cups mould to suit. I ended up buying 3 different sizes in the asda one for my one week post op appointment with the nurse and wore the size she said and then exchanged the other 2 to the same size after.
Hope this helps and good look with the op xx

I’ve had a nightmare with bras not knowing which is best. I first got ones from m&s sports bra that do up at the back. I was told to buy a 34c and a 34d. Nurse went to put them on and they were to small I thought omg. It wouldn’t do up so my partner had to rush to get 36d and that was fine he got me a high impact one from tesco£16. It’s comfy but the clip at the back can b annoying. Asda 36d zip up one don’t fit me at the moment due to swelling. The do look nice though. The one Josephine has pictured is so soft I have one of those now and also another white sports bra from m&s £25. Just get different cup and back sizes so you have the right one u can always take the ones back u don’t use . Just keep all labels on. Hope this helps x and gd luck x
