HELP – when can I remove steri strips??

I am 16 days post op, I had bandages removed on day 7 and new steri strips applied, when can I remove these to let the incisions breathe? Plus clean them properly? X

Confirm with your nurse but mine said I can take them off when I was ten days po

I had my dressings off 8 days PO and fresh steri strips put on but the nurse said I could take them off whenever I had my first proper shower so I took them off that night xx
