    Hi girls,
Had my op yesterday with Gary Traynor at Preston.
I was booked in for 11 am and it was about 5 when we left the First Trust. Couldn’t fault any part of the whole experience. ., the nurses, doctor, aneasthatist and surgeon were all brilliant !
I was fine last night and earlier today, but since tea time have gone downhill a bit.
I’ve been taking my meds regular, but the swelling/pain is getting really uncomfortable now. Apart from ice packs does anyone have any other tips?
    Thanks

    Hi Andrea,

I’m sorry I don’t have any tips really but just wanted to let you know it does get better. I’m PO day 3 and feeling a bit better than yesterday. All day 2 I had shooting burning pains and this morning the pain has lessened but they feel very tight and bruised. I had to stop taking the cocodamol as it was making me really sick so I’m now taking paracetamol, ibuprofen and the anti-biotics. I am finding moving around slowly eases the pain slightly. Also the V pillow is a life saver-I take it everywhere!
I hope you feel better soon! I just keep telling myself how much I wanted these amazing boobs.
    Take care x

Thanks for the replies girls, the ice does help a lot.
Feeling a bit better today, went for a slow walk with hubby and the dog and I’m finding that moving about rather than sitting still is helping.
