    Hi girls,

I’m having BA on tuesday and I’ve got a few questions I hope you can help me with? 🙂

    – Can I take my mum and sister with me to the hospital or can I only take 1 person?

    – Has anyone washed their hair after? My appointment with the nurse is 10 days after my op and I hate the thought of not washing my hair for 10 days!! Can I get someone to do it for me?

    – Can I wear any type of sports bra as long as it’s not underwired, I have 2 macom and one from M&S but want a variety?

Hope you can answer some or all of my questions 🙂

Your room can have as many visitors as you wish . It’s a private hospital . I think its upto 9ppl. 🙂
I washed my hair in my bath room sink , I had got my hubby to do it . Worst idear I ever had . Walked round my dried shampoo in the frount of my hair for two days because I didn’t have the heart to complain lol. Squat rather than bend . Take your time . Towel dry your hair before conditioning and take a little brake , have a cuppa then rinse it off . ( for extra shine drip your hair in ice cold water , just the ends mind). You wanna look good . I dryed my hair like .cousin it.
Yes you can wear any support /sports bra that’s easy to get on . If you can’t lift it over your bum . Stick with zip ups for a few days . 🙂 xx

I think that should be enough sports bras as i wanted to buy quite a few, ive got a macom and a pack of 2 from m&s but my pc and the nurse said save your money for buying new bras when your healed and know what size you will end up. I hope you can take 2 people to the hospital because i wanted to take my mum and dad xx

Hi Hun good luck with your op. I had mine on Tuesday and washed my hair Tuesday morning and again today. My mum did it did me, tipped my head over the bath. Didn’t cause me any pain and didnt get my body wet. As for sports bra yes I think it’s ok, I’m wearing an asda one. I think aslong as its fits ok then ther problems. Just do then up and the front and then twist round if there rear fastening ones. Not meant to lift your hands above your head for a few weeks I think. Dunno about the hospital, but j guess it would be ok to take two people, you have your own room. Hope that’s some help xx

Thanks for the tips Em – I really can’t stand the thought of not washing my hair! I’ll get my mum to do it in the sink :-)!
Yeah Jasmine I think I’ve got enough, I’ll only end up buying loads and not actually wearing them lol.
    Thanks for your help girls!

I’ve already prepped my hairdresser for lots of wash & blow dry appointments! I’ve never been able to do it in the sink or bath? Plus it’ll be an excuse to get out and about? Good luck x
