Here at Preston waiting!!!

Hi everyone just thought I’d tell my journey so far , I’m here at Preston , I’m in my room and I’ve got my gown on , ive seen a nurse and she’s done my bloody pressure and heart rate etc , pregnancy test! Got some sexy white stockings on and waiting to see the surgeon and anaesthetist , admission time was 12 and nurse said I’m looking at around half 2/3 for my op so got some waiting around to do and I’m starving!!! Will update soon , good luck to anyone who’s op is today xxxx

Can’t have my op done! The anethetist won’t put me to sleep cause on my notes I’ve fainted a few times ! I am so upset and fuming that I’ve waited for 5 hours and now been told this ! I don’t even know what to do now my heart has been truly ripped out!

Oh no!!!! That’s awful you must be so annoyed!!!! 😮 🙁 🙁 when have u fainted? Like in the past when you’ve had needles? Omg u must be so gutted couldn’t they have told you this 5 hours ago..? Xxx

I last fainted in September just because I hadn’t eaten that day and he’s just like no I’m. It putting you to sleep I’m furious paid 5 thousand pound to be messed around like this it’s not on at all major complaint will be made ! Xxx

Wow that’s well bad can’t believe that!! How can they refuse you just because of fainting once?! Don’t get it, so u can’t have it done at all? 🙁 u must be so angry I known I would be!!! I’d get onto Mya about that ASAP xxx

Surely from the get go they would of known everything about you! Medical history etc..

I feel faint just thinking about surgery, so god help me when I get mine done!! xxx

I’m just furious at the whole situation my Medicaid are all stated in my file he hadn’t even looked at it until he came in the room he was so rude he said he ain’t touching me cause I could die if j got bad blood pressure seriously he’s way over reacting I’m so so upset I was stuck in Preston no way to get home and had no help from the nurses , I asked where the nearest train station was and the nurse said I don’t know I don’t live here I was shocked it was just the worst day ever ! Xxx

They did the same with me the night before cancelled my op.for something medical….they should make sure they are happy with you medically before taking your money! X

What happened Natalie? Did you get it sorted quickly? Or was there a major problem xxx

Oh my gosh you poor thing 🙁 that must be so horrible! When will you be able to have it done then? Didnt you have a GP health note to say you were fit for surgery. I will be staying in a hotel overnight as recommended by my PC so what if it was cancelled you’d lose that money, really worried me now!

Yeah I had a letter from my doctors said in fine and he still didn’t listen he was horrible to me just walked out the room left me there not knowing what to do , I’m still waiting for MYA to tell me what happens next , just hope they sort what needs to be done ASAP xxx

Omg to get that far then be turned away I can’t imagine how awful that would be! Which surgeon was you with? They keep talking about that at the clinic I go to about cancelling girls last min. I think coz there so rushed they don’t look through thins properly until it comes down to it.. I would try somewhere else? Surely someone’s fainted before n been able to go ahead with surgery xx

That’s worried me now.. I have had a seizure about 3 years back now due to lack of oxygen to my brain so I passed out, but that was a one time thing and investigated by MRIs etc…. However the anaesthetist called my nurse and asked her to ask me a few more questions about it and upon doing so she went back to them and haven’t heard anything since so assuming it was ok, I have my post op assessment on Fri so will deffo be asking re: that then! Hope you get it sorted hun xx

Make sure you just mention it , I’ve still not got any answers yet I’m so furious I can’t stop being upset , I’m truly heartbroken. Xxx
