Highfield Hospital 20th August…so nervous!!

I’m booked in for my BA at highfield on tuesday with Helena Antoniadou and I still don’t have my admission time! Is it normal not to get the admission time so close to the actual date??

I got a phone call a couple of days before hand! I had mine yesterday at highgate Phone them up because its a weekend so don’t know if they phone weekends! Phone the highfield number and ask and they will tell you 🙂 good luck you will be fine! Xx

Thank you!! I’m just starting to get a bit worried cause I have no details at all even about how I’m getting there on tuesday yet..hopefully it’ll be all sorted xx

Yeah make sure you give them a call! Where do you have to travel from? I had to get the train from Brighton to London! Xx

I’ve just phoned the clinic and the gonna chase it up and call me back…I’ve gotta travel from Durham to Rochdale about 3hrs on the train so not too bad I suppose xx

That’s good atleast you know they will phone you back! And that’s not too bad! How will you get home? Are you an overnight stay x

Yeah I’m an overnight stay, I’m gonna just stop in the hospital, had the choice of the hospital or a hotel but just thought would be better in case anything happened haha!! They’ve arranged a car to bring me back home, literally to my door so a font have to mess on with trains…they’ve just phoned me back and I scant get admission time or train times till Monday!! Like the day before, bit short notice a think haha x

Oh that’s good then. You don’t have to worry about getting home! And really that’s short not a lot of time to plan anything! But in sure it will all go well! Xx

I didn’t get a phone call at all ended up phoning mya at 5pm on the Monday , had my ba last Tuesday (13th August) at high field with Helena. I was angry I didn’t get a call. When I finally called them they were very relaxed my admission time was 7.30 am. And surgery was at 9am. Helena came in around 8.30am
Chatted to me very briefly and that was it. The staff at the high field are lovely. Make you feel very welcome the food is good too. I had a tv and private room with en suite. A couple of friends with different surgery providers had shared rooms. The nurses check on you every hour too. I was a day case but had the option to stay in over night if I wanted too. I was ready for home around 5pm

Eee gosh I bet!! I’m not happy it’s being left till last minutes I’ve gotta travel on 3 different trains to get to Rochdale on tuesday so I’m hoping they have sense not to have my admission time that early!! Aww good I’m glad the staff are lovely and ill have my own room don’t think I could face people if I didn’t have make up on haha!! So were you pleased with Helena did she talk it through with you before you went down or was she just in and out with no conversation
