Hole in boob

Ladies,

I’m nearly 6 weeks post op and I have a little white what looks like a hole in the stitches at the bottom of my right boob. I have been to the clinic twice and each time been given a plaster to keep over it. I have uploaded a pic has any other ladies had the same? It’s dry and has a little yellow discharge xx

Hi Sarah did you have yellow discharge when you went to the clinic last or is this new? I think the hole will heal eventually but phone the nurse again about the discharge just to be sure. I’m sure it’s all part of the healing process but no harm in another visit to clinic xx

Hi Anna I had it before. It was when I had the scab I went to the clinic, the nurse said to keep it covered and dry. I’m back home in Northern Ireland for Xmas and have been told to send them pics every time I change my dressing as they’re no clinics over here xx

Hey hun, is it a hard white lump? IT might be an undisolved stitch, I have them at 7 weeks, it can take 3 months for them dissolve totally, mine are all gone aside 2 which I can see as hard white dots, if there is discharge you may have a small scar infection, a week of antibiotics will clear it up don;t worry hunx

Hi kaydee accepted your fr. Yea it’s hard but it looks like it’s a hole with the white on the inside. Been to doc and she said its a pea size opening of the wound where the skin has broken down and if it gets any bigger I need to go to a+e. Xx

Eeek you poor thing, I just took a peek at the pic you added, I hope it gets sorted quick and no a&e, good luck x

Hopefully it’s just an infection and the tablets will clear it up. Xx

I had a yellowy/white spot on scar line and saw gp hu didnt even mention it i think it had almost disappeared a few days later wen i saw him and he said im healing great but i still have this white spot im at mya clinic mon so see wot they say n me n u r same post op rnt we hope your ok n have a good xmas im bk home in ireland after monday too xx
