Holidays post op – advice needed please

Morning girls – me again! ????
Has anyone gone on holiday before their 6 week check and how did they find it? I’m going away in Feb, march and may. Feb and mArch are just city breaks in Europe and may I’m going to Bali. Ideally I’d love them done before Bali but there isn’t 6 weeks between each holiday. Would 4 weeks be ok if I’m not swimming / sunbathing and still wearing a sports bra? (Pre Bali holiday!) xxx

I don’t remember the time frames but I know you can’t fly for a certain amount of time afterwards, also you don’t want to be getting them sweaty, id ring mya and ask because you may be alright but they may not want to operate if they don’t deem it safe (also personally I wouldn’t want to have to wear the minging huge bras under cute outfits and have to avoid the sun and swimming) but I’d deffo get in touch with them! Ps I’m jealous of all your hols xx

Yeah that’s what I’m thinking! I think it’s meant to still be big jumper weather in Italy in march so was hoping the sports bras will be covered ha ha. Otherwise il have to wait until end of May to book in ???? Thanks for the advice! 🙂

When did you have your op? How did you find the after pain / healing process? The thought of not being able to wash my hair and go to the gym is worrying me already lol xx

Hey. I think your advised to not fly shorthaul for 6 weeks and longhaul for 8. Some surgeons are flexible though so I would perhaps ask your PC or the surgeon at the consultation with them – preferably at the surgeon consultation as the PC will simply read off the MYA guidelines (6-8 weeks).

Hello babe i went to iceland for christmas and i was 4/5 weeks post opp. Went into the hotels pool, and the blue lagoon and was fine!! Xxx

Hey babes. Ah that’s good to know! I guess everyone heals differently! Once I’ve been given some available dates I guess I can decide… although Bali would be so much better with boobs lol xx
