So I had my surgery on 8th September I know I’m only a few days in but I never believed it would be this painful. I’ve had over the muscle and in Struggling so bad! Also petrified to take off my sports bra as woke up form surgery with it on. Can’t even show (how awful!). Tablets are making me feel terribly sick aswell! Really wish somone had given me heads up before so I knew what I was going into before I did it! X

I had overs and I was fine I was up and out shopping the day I came home from hospital! Everyone handles and recovers from surgery differently is it your first time for any kind of surgery?

With your tablets what are you taking? I couldn’t take co-codamol/codeine ( I know it begins with c just can’t remember which one) as I had one as soon as I came round from surgery kept it down for about 5 minutes and then was sick everywhere! So maybe ask to change your tablets or take an anti sickness tablet with your pain tablets? Xx

I know exactly how u feel I struggled ALOT with pain too till the point I didn’t even care about how my boobs looked and just wanted the pain to go. It does get better don’t worry!! The pain got alot better around 5 days post op and after I took my strapping off at 7 days post op I felt a hundred times better! I’m now 11 days post op and can’t even remember the pain I was in its basically gone πŸ™‚ I have the occasional muscle pain and incisions hurt a bit but nothing major. Just be patient and keep strong πŸ™‚ xx

Have you tried ice packs? They were my saviour the first few days. Also have plenty of protein to help your body heal. If your feeling sick your going to feel generaly rubbish and will take longer I think, if your actually being sick I can imagine that hurting your chest area! Maybe the painkillers or the antibiotics are making you feel worse? Maybe worth speaking to your doctor, in the meantime try and have something in your stomach when you take them (especially the ibuprofen!) Hope you feel better soon! X

Have you just been resting or have you been a little mobile too? I would definetly speak to someone about the codeine as I think that’s the one that’s making you feel sick! Everybody heals differently and I had quiet a lot of extra tissue and space for my implant to go if you had little room this could also be why your body’s taking longer to recover. Just try and think of the end result you will look back in say 3 weeks and think what was I worried about! I personally found having my tonsils removed more painful than this but like I’ve said I had a lot of room!

Do you have a v pillow? This was a life saver for me x

I had my tonsils out last year it was horrific but this feels worse I’m worried going to call nurse in morning and see if I can go and see her my breasts are so swollen aswell think my implants are huge considering I wanted a 34dd they’re looking more like an F at the moment! Hoping this is huge amount of swelling as I want them smaller x

If you think you can’t cope then the nurses are always at the other end of the phone ask them about the sickness whilst your on the phone they may be able to advise on a different type of medication for the pain! Try ice packs for the swelling like someone else said. What are your stats? What where you pre op and what size did you go for? X

I also had my ba on the 8th September and I am seriously struggling to deal with the pain. Not entirely happy with the end result of my boobs either hoping they will change shape with time.

I had mine on the 8th also. But like people have said I think everybody heals different. I was taking the co codemol but I was feeling sick taking it. So I’ve changed to paracetamol and ibuprofen. I can feel more pain but it’s bearable. The problem in having is the discomfort from all the bloating and water retention. I think it’s a good idea to call the nurse because they give you the anti sickness tablets in the hospital with the morphine and I was fine with that, the sickness started when I came out of hospital. Hope it gets sorted hun and hope you’re feeling better soon!! ☺️ Xxx

I had to stop taking the co-codamol after day 2 as I was so drowsy and being sick. I just stuck to 2 paracetamol and 1 ibuprofen every 4 hours xx

@demilux I had 250cc hpu. I only wanted a full c/small d so didn’t want to go too big . I was barely and A cup before so no matter what size I had they’d look huge to me. I wanted a natural look. What are you hoping to be Hun? I’m sure they look fab! They’ll be swollen a lot, when that goes down they won’t be as big. Try not to see them for what they are now-a lot of changing to do.
I’ve got some pics on my profile if you want to add and have a look xx

Hi @demilux hope you don’t mind the add. Just wanted to let you know I feel exactly the same as you . I’m in agony on one side and I had overs too on Wednesday. From what I’d heard I wasn’t expecting to be like this with overs so I was worried something was wrong I literally can’t even get myself out of bed and the pain is getting worse on the bad side. I’m the same as you and usually cope ok with pain and managed childbirth ok with just gas and air haha so I don’t think I’m really a wimp. Hope you feel better soon let us know. Xx

Oh no yeah I’m exactly the same my left side is feeling so much better today but my right side is a nightmare. I’m just on the paracetamol and ibuprofen now so hoping the weekend goes fast and I’m feeling a little better I have woke up today and feel much better than a few days ago. Ended up picking my two year old up though which isn’t helping but she doesn’t understand what’s going on! Hoping you start to feel better too! Who would have thought it would be this painful lol xx
