Horrendous pain in left when wake up

Seeing the nurse today to have stitches trimmed. Going to ask about pain in left. It’s horrible. I think I’ve got a good pain threshold but this makes me want to cry. When I have to sit up in a morning it’s like someone is stabbing my left with a hot poker. It’s last for a while. It scared my husband this morning. Hope it’s nothing serious. I’m wondering if I’m not upright enough but thought 2wks I don’t have to be so strict. I’ve had it really good the first 10 days odd aches and pains but this just dreads me wanting to sit up in a morning. I actually kick my legs on the bed like a child when it happens. Hope the nurse can help today.

I’m 4weeks post opp today and I still get the worst pain ever when I first get out of bed in the morning, soon passes though and to be honest it is getting better, didn’t make any difference whether I led flat or slept upright, guess just one of those things ..try not to let it get you down x
