how come ??

I have to wait ti the 20th to get my dressings off how come people have pics with no dressings on a couple of days later can I pull them off my self ?

The nurse takes them off at the one week appointment
Don’t pull your dressings off covering your stitches!

I havent got a app till the 20th =( x

Hiya hun, phone them and see if they can get you in sooner. My op is on Sunday and have booked my post op for the Saturday 6 days later as they’re not open Sunday x

Ee I am going to ring the morra that means I will be waiting 10 days xx

I took of my dressings, my PC asked the nurse, said I could if I wanted to, as they couldn’t get me in till 11 days after my op, xx

I had my post op at 10 days alot ov the girls get put bk n have there wk appointment pushed bk x

Some surgeons don’t use strapping at all. I know it is horrendous but I would try and wait until you see the nurse – or at the least ring and ask the nurse for advice. The thing is that if you take the strapping off yourself and your incisions aren’t dry/healing quickly then you need a new dressing over your stitches which you won’t be able to do at home x

Think I will just wait even tho I am dying to see them with out all dressings on xx

I waited 11 days its ok honestly xx

I have a Huge 1 around my head lol xx
