Hun I had Unders two days ago and I’m with you on this one. I’m in absolute agony. The strapping is so tight it’s suffocating and anything involving chest muscles is excruciating. May not be very comforting as I can’t say when it starts getting better yet as I’m definitely not there but you’re not alone. Trying to keep reminding myself it’ll all be so worth it xx

I had unders yesterday and did not expect this kind of pain! Been crying too and can’t do anything for myself it’s so frustrating. Also sitting on my bed or sofa is so uncomfortable and I haven’t slept yet since yesterday and so tired now but the pain is stopping me from sleeping! How did you manage to sleep in your bed? I’m sitting completely upright with a vpillow as that’s all I can manage anyway but not comfortable. I am still pleased I had unders but wish it had the pain of overs haha hope you girls feel better soon xx

I had under yesterday and hate to say that I’m not finding them that bad BUT I “only” had 280cc so it might be to do with that. I was petrified of them before doing it but just think how worth it it’ll be. It gets better day by day so take every day as it comes and rest LOTS, i got some kool’n’soothe ice packs from boots that are helping too. Just remind yourself why you’ve done it x

I had 325 MP under son Monday. Have made sure taking pain killers and muscle relaxant every 4/5 hours as well as antibiotics. Sleeping propped up with v pillow and 3 normal pillows. Have only been out of bed one for an hour and I paid for it after. Plenty of bed rest is best advised and don’t do s thing. Nurse advised me this before I left hospital. Hope this is of some help xx

Hey ladies ur post op diet is also really helpful when aiding pain and repairing the body. I had unders and an uplift and only felt discomfort practically no pain at all. U need protein to aid growth and repair as u have had major surgery… Ur muscles have literally been cut open. I also took a cocktail of vitamins and minerals pre and post op including magnesium, iron, zinc and vit c. I didn’t have alcohol for at least two months post op and I don’t smoke.

It helps to take ur meds with meals and to snack on protein, veg and fruit no junk food. I drank a glass of water mixed with pineapple juice every hour to bring down swelling, flush out the toxins from the op (ie. All the medicine they pump u with) and to stay hydrated.

A typical day for breakfast was eggs (protein) beans and toast and I was was snacking on chicken breast strips(protein) nuts (protein) blueberries(helps immune system) yoghurt (protein) and pineapple (reduce swelling).

I was on antibiotics, muscle relaxants, paracetamol and Piriton. I stopped the cocodemol after day two because it made me really ill so managed my pain relief literally off paracetamol for about ten days. Diet is key!

I am eating healthy , I believe that diet is a key, but it doesn’t helps x every body is different, recovery also depends from the implant size and projection I think…

That’s great to hear! Obviously everyone heals differently I hope it gets better in time for u. Implant size is more likely to cause stretch and back ache I doubt projection will make much of an impact but who knows fx
