I really can’t cope anymore. I feel absolutely fine but this sleeping upright is the worst thing I’ve had to do in my life. I’m usually a good sleeeper but I’m getting around 3 hours a night because when I wake up I’m up for hours and really uncomfortable and faffing about with my pillows trying to get comfy. It’s horrible. I forgot to ask other day st my post op with the nurse x

I was told at my 6 week check I could sleep normally. That being said I started sleeping on my side earlier because I was naturally moving over in my sleep as the pain subsided the further along I got. So I think by 3/4 week half way through the night I’d turn in my sleep and wake up kind of on my side, so just propped pillows around me to stop me going completely on my side. I still slept a little raised with pillows but not completely upright. I literally love bed time now I can be properly on my side and not raised! Took that shit for granted hahaha xx

I’ve been thinking the same thing. I’m not sleeping at all and I’m POW2 as of today so a fortnight of no sleep is catching up on me! I’m sure sleeping on your side is from 6 weeks but I think you can lay flat on your back from 2/3 weeks? x

I read a lot on this from another forum where you ask the PS questions and they all give an answer. One said to slowly start reducing how many pillows you use to sleep upright until you are a position you are comfortable with. I took away a pillow last night and slept almost at an angle and undid my bra and band so the babies could breath! Hope this helps. Xx

Aw I so can’t wait to sleep normal again. I’ve been absolutely fine with sleeping upright until the last couple of nights it’s just been annoying me x
