I have my surgery booked for 13th July with Dr Linda Fiumara. I am a nail tech so its not very physical no heavy lifting etc. was just wondering if any other nail techs had had implants and how long it took for you to go back to work xx

I booked off 1 week, ended up having 11 days off, even then I felt discomfort and got swelling doing acrylics, and even at 3-4 weeks post op, doing acrylics I had swelling and discomfort from filing with the arm movements, everybody is different and I felt 100% at around 9 weeks post op xxx

Thank you everyone for your help, will just have to see how I feel 🙂 most of my filing is with an e-file then change to hand filing for last bit so I should be ok! Xxx

Im a spa therapist and am having my second op, Ive booked 15days of work, hoping this will be ok, Im having unders this time so will have to be careful with lifting things mainly like pedi bowls etc , everyone recovers differently, your body will tell you your limits but with nails it should be fine x
