So I have just got home from my final consultation with Mr Falladhar and have made a complete twat of myself!
I was seeing him re: upper eyelid surgery and BA … When I was talking to him about my eyelids I got upset and cried coz of how it makes me feel… and being the twat that I am I blubbed away for a while with the old ‘sorry’ thrown in! Mr F thinks I’m a complete nutter now- Great! He’s asked if I’m depressed ( more than once) .
Bottom line is he’s suggested I let my botox in forehead wear off before seeing him again and that I get a go letter re lump removal from my breast ( several yrs ago) . He didn’t even look at my boobs… Like I said he thought I am a nut case!
I do value his opinion and think it is right to let botox leave my system , as he said you can take skin away, but you can’t put it back- True!
So now I’m at home feeling disappointed ( this was my last consultation – was gonna come home and thought I’d be choosing which surgeon I wanted to go with) , I’m feeling embarrassed and feel like I’ve made a proper show of myself…
Anyway Mr F was lovely… and I will wait a couple of months and go back ( head held in shame) to see what he thinks.

Don’t every Hun, surgeon have seen it all, I say and tried on mr traynors shoulder for ages. They understand the need to vent and cry, we are woman and have more emotions then men, fact xx

Thanks Joannabella… I am usually very with it and can conduct myself in a very controlled way however today it went pear shaped … I just feel so stupid, honestly… and to be asked if I’m depressed on top- I must have come across as so unstable!
Anyway I’m gonna have to lick my wounds and deal with it! X

I was the same, when I saw mr Traynor, I was crying in minutes, I never ever cry, I had my son with me, and he didn’t know what to do, which I felt daft for, actually crying, but I clearly needed it, and me Traynor accepted that (same as my son) and let me blub xx

Think of this as a positive thing hun, you’ve got more time for research? I had to wait a year for different reasons & never felt more ready n prepared..big big hugs hun it’s all stepping stones just take your time & it all in your stride, your other consultation sounded wayy better anyhow maybe give it some time & see the other surgeon again, he sounded fab!! Xxx

Ahh Ducky… It’s so crappy coz I have only myself to blame .. haha!!
You are right hun, I’m gonna tough it out and then pop back in a couple of months and try and behave like a grown up 😉 xx

Omg. That’s nothing. Really don’t worry. I sobbed all morning at the hospital nod they had to knock me out with diazepam! I told them I am an anxious wreck. If the surgeon can’t handle some emotion I certainly wouldn’t allow him to work on my body! I’m a complete nutcase and they operated on me. He might have been concerned because you we’re asking for 2 things and thought you hadn’t taken long enough to think about it.

Aww you’re not to blame its all so overwhelming they should understand this, I don’t like the sound of the way he “handled it” such a man 😉 xx

When I go in for consultation I look for eye contact that’s the main thing for me eye contact tells me what I need to know. Being emotional draws you away from concentrating on the surgeon my personal opinion. And yes all surgeons if they see slight weakness they will tend to question you as to know that you are in a healthy and happy mental state as people tend to do things example surgery to comfort them selfs and they want you to be 100% sure you are wanting to proceed with the procedure..cheer up xx

I broke down with my PC when I found out I needed a uplift and really couldn’t afford the extra for one, it might have gone on in my favour though cos she rang 2hrs after with a awesome price that I could afford lol don’t worry it is a very emotional time xx

Aww, don’t worry..I’m sure they have seen much worse!! At least he is taking a professional approach and ensuring you are fit and ready before he makes any comment on what he migh be able to offer you…that is a sign of a good surgeon. Chin up lovely and go back when you’re ready xx

@kelsbells how did your consultation go hun? X

    Menu

It does suck, do you want to wait or have you thought about going with any of the other surgeons? If you wait, we might have our surgery together because I can’t get mine done until August 🙂 Apart from him running late by nearly half an hour, it was good! Basically told me I could have exactly the same as what Mr K offered me either 400 cc TSX or 410cc CUI. To be honest, they both seemed good and I would be happy with either of them so I really don’t know what to do. I havn’t heard from my PC though, which tbh with I’m a bit disappointed. Had a sneaky consult with Transform today too, have you seen them? xx

Glad you had a good consultation, my appointment was half an hour late too! I’m gonna wait as he suggested a couple of months or until I can see my botox is leaving my forehead… then I’m going to go back and see Mr F again. At the mo Mr Tulley is favourite , but only coz I didn’t really have a consultation today!!
Wasn’t your PC around after your consultation… I’ve seen mine after both of mine…
I haven’t been to Transform, how did you find them?? I saw Mr Tulley ( not Mya) … Are Transforms prices similar??
If it does take me till August then yeah … We could book rooms next to each other and shout encouraging messages to each other down the hall… haha!! 😉 xx

He must’ve been busy, I was hardly in there any time though!! So funny though, he’s telling you to let the botox go out, but recommending it to me for my sweaty armpits…was practically like this is the best thing for you to do lol Where is Mr Tulley from? Who was your other consult with?
I had a bit of a mess with PC’s and swapped to Fenchurch Street so she wasn’t there today. I’m sure I’ll hear soon tho 🙂 The initial consultation was really good actually, just as good as MYA. Price was a bit cheaper and they have their own hospitals.
For me the surgeon is the most important thing, but wouldn’t be able to have another surgeon consult until Easter holidays..booo!!! I hope you don’t have to wait until August, I keep umming and aaahing about going in at Easter!! xx

    Menu

I just don’t know what to do for the best!! I really want someone just to tell me what to do, you’re having this, this and this and you’re having it here on this date..that’ll be £££. I would be like thanks, here you go!! xx
I can’t see there being much diff between companies, in the end they all do the same thing!! I don’t think i’ll do it at Easter, just wishful thinking!! My job is not boob job friendly and I can’t take time off at all 🙁
