how often wear sports bra? post op day 3

hey girls im 3 days post op and all strapped up, im wearing my sports bra on top of my strapping all day but tending to take it off during the night as its much more comfortable to sleep? is this okay? how long should i be wearing the bra a day?

I’m not sure with strapping on, but I know when you have it off you have to wear it everyday and every night with only taking it off to put a clean one on. I know it’s horrible but it’s just 6 weeks and then you know your new boobs will be as good as they can be 🙂 xx

i just read on the paperwork you dont need to wear it with strapping on but before i left the hosp wedsnesday they asked me if i had one to put on so im confused ? i may just wear it in the day and not the night until told otherwise x x

Maybe they meant for after? I duno, I haven’t seen most girls wearing one with strapping but yeah maybe just wear it in the day just in case and take it off at night xx

Hi Hun – I have strapping and they told me to wear mine on top every day. I only take it off I have a wash – tbh when I take it off and put it back on it makes it more painful! Think you are supposed to have it on as much as possible xx

I have a strapping/tape on n wearing sports bra day and night…it suppose to feel tight n u suppose to wear it for 6 wks day and night…i can tell the difference when i didnt have bra on my first day just with strapping my implants were moving alot…i am day one post opp with bra on n it feels so much steady n less painfull .

Hi girls im really worrying about if im doing the right thing for my boobs. They’re feeling really tight and sore in my sports bra and not sure if i can wear a bigger bra in bed – pains really bad and dont think ill sleep but i dont want to effect the look of my boobs ahh 🙁 xxx

@sarahjenkss mines very tight in my sports bra, my boobs feel like their being pulled together in the middle of my gap that I have xx and I think it’s supposed to. I had a bigger bra on because of swelling and my boobs felt like they were in my armpits but I thought they were supported, until I changed to a smaller one today and god they feel better! They’re supposed to feel hard, swollen and pulling a bit because your skin is stretching over them xx
Obvs if it’s still really bad by your 1 week post op I’d just make sure you mention it to the nurse xxx

Ahh thanku @myahannah ! You’ve put my mind at ease, when i have the bigger one on my implants are under my armpits haha! I can manage the pain if i know im doing the right thing 🙂 thanku uve been so helpful as ive been worrying alot about everything 🙁 xxx
