how soon/late did you get your admission time?

im in on saturday and I’m constantly checking my emails for the admission time haha.
i know it can be 24 hours before that you get it. just wondering when you girls got yours?xx

its like such an excitement but a massive headache on top for me coz i worry. never looked forward to the weekend coming n being over so much in my life lol xx

I know! I’m trying to decide wether to stay at my mums the night as she’s only 45 mins away. I think if I’m an early admission il do that but if I’m late il come from mine which is a few hours away lol so soon as I know I can get all that sorted xx

You should get it 3 days before girls but ring your PC they might have it and can tell you over the phone if not nothing lost is there , I didn’t get mine and I rang them and they told me 🙂 xxxx

I’m in tomorrow for my op!!:) I got mine last week but it all can be different. I’m travelling from Newcastle down to Preston through tbe night as my admission time is 8am X X x

I’ve just texted and asked her now… I’ve been called by Mya coz apparently my doctor didn’t give enough information in the full medical history. I had a mini suspected stroke in the past and had a few panick attacks but my PC said that’s sorted now. Got me well scared!!

Oh no typical of doctors. Glad your ok now though hun. Few more days and we will have our new twins lol

Just double check its all sorted because I have a few fainting attackes last year and the anethetist wouldn’t put me to sleep and sent me home!! So make sure you ask them are you gonna be 100% OK to have your op done I don’t want you being turned away like me xxxx

Oh wow that’s so early and the time I wanted guess I am second and all that matters is what we will get at the end of it all. If I am up to it I will try and look for you but you’d probably just wanna get out of there lol x

Just say you spoke to a girl on here who got turned away by the anethetist and you wanna make sure it doesn’t happen to you , I’m sure if they wanted more info it would be ok but you never know this particular anethetist is known for turning people away he’s called kamacazzi or something xxxx

oh gosh.. i gunna try ringing up and talking to one of the nurses, but they are so hard to get hold of!
did you need to get any extra information when you just had yours done? or was it just because another anethasist was on duty he let you go ahead?xx

Earliest admission is 7.30 but earliest surgery is 9am , you’ll probably be done before 12/1 ish depends where you are on the list and what’s being done that day xxxx

They had to ring my doctors for more info and then found a new anethetist which would speak to my doctors and then he said yeah he’ll take me xxx

In cases like that you would think they would have one on stand by, we have waited a long time for this and then to be turned away at the last minute is just not right.

Have you got everything ready I don’t even know what to bring with me apart from sports bra, underwear, face wipes, phone, charger and a change of clothes

I’ve got sports bra,pjs,night gown,socks,slippers,makeup,charger, and I’m coming in the clothes I’m leaving in. think I’m gunna bring snacks for after i wake up il be starving and tea n toast might not be enough lol xx

Yeah I’m feeling ok , feel tender and sore and chest is very tight I’ve spent since yesterday 7pm in bed all night and day finding it hard to get up and that but hopefully it will ease off xxx

I was gunna say when you wake up from surgery are you really sleepy at first then wide awake? Or are you sleepy like all day/night? I hope I sleep in the night, there’s nothing worse than being up at silly hours n not being able to get back to sleep. I got my v pillow. It’s so comfy I’m using it already but laying down on it xx

I felt abit drunk when I came around I asked the nurse am I dreaming? Lol then when I got yo my room I was awake just abit sleepy and I was shaking a my teeth were chattering but she said it’s the anaesthetic wearing off it will go and it did within 20 mins but I felt OK after just abit of pain I was starving though! Xxxx

I get like that after being put to sleep as well all cold and uncontrollably shaking. Hope you have a good heal. Are you taking the cocodomol they give you and do you feel alright with that? I read a lot of girls on here have been sick taking it but I have taken it before and been fine x

They only gave me paracetamol and ibuprofen they been ok I could do with stronger tbh xxx
