    Morning,

I had my operation on this weekend and feel more sickly today than I did yesterday. I had one co-coda mol before bed and slept well but have no appetite today. The pain is alright but I feel so nauseous…..peppermint tea is brewing and will get some ginger biscuits.

Please tell me it gets better!

Oh and they don’t tell you about cleavage awareness – I was like the Hungry Caterpillar after my operation and lying eating cherries and lost a cherry stone down my cleavage- can’t tell you how much fun it was trying to get the pip out! Ha ha ha

Hi Ella , it gets easier but my first two weeks were tough. After that though it got better. I’m 6 weeks post op now and feel completely fine. I remember feeling tearful and sorry for myself in the early days.

I know what you mean about losing things down your cleavage. I’m so not used to it!! Xx

Thanks Helen – I need to be a bit more realistic as I was expecting to feel better than this. Glad you have the same cleavage issues!!

    Hi Ella,
I’m 6 days post op and days 3-5 were worst for me so far. You do have to remember your body has had a trauma and it takes time to heal. I’m having my moments too, had a few tears and a few laughs about them 🙂 This forum is really helpful in reassuring yourself what you feel is normal hun xx

Deb that is interesting to know – I’ll square my shoulders for the next few days! Not had tears yet but feeling really zoned out!

    Xx
