I'm 17 days post op and have had UPLIFT and BA think I have infection help?

Hi has this happened to anyone else, I had my 2 week post op
On tues for uplift and ba, all dressings removed and nurse said that everything was healing well, then when I was checking scars on Thursday I noticed a small triangle shape from when the two anchor incisions join and it was green I called nurse and got train to get it checked out she redressed it and put some iodine on it but never have me any antibiotics? I have not felt right since and my tummy is really tender to touch? Does anyone have any advice or had something similar ? The nurse said this was quite common but I am worried sick ? Xxx help

Not happened to me but I’m sure the nurse would of told you if it was something to worry about or if you need antibiotics. But if you’re still concerned or have been feeling unwell since you saw her I would give them a call again, they might be able to give you some proper advice or at least put your mind to rest…x

Hi stef I have accepted you thanks , have rang them and told if gets worse then call back as I have another PO appointment with nurse on tues!!! X
