Another night has passed where I can’t sleep due to having to sleep on my back/upright. My neck and back I’d killing me I just can’t do it I’ve tried everything what else can I do?! I think I may have to take some strong sleeping pills I really need a good night’s sleep I’m getting so annoyed about it and my mood has been terrible

I’ve been so tired I sleep during the day but for like an hour and that’s it doesn’t last. So its completely messed up my sleeping routine. The first night of surgery was a walk in the park due to anastetic and pain killers. Now I just can’t sleep what sp ever and I really want to I’m exhausted. This whole upright isn’t working for me at all, no v pillow doesn’t work either…

I’ve been sleeping on my sides since I was a tod my body can not adjust to t and probably never won’t which worries me because I’m a student studying and I work, I don’t want to attend lectures, work feeling drowned out.

    Please help 🙁

I feel the same as you! I’ve been randomly crying and I feel constantly exhausted due to lack of sleep… I’ve fallen out with just about everyone because I’m so grumpy, I’d love to know a solution! Maybe sleeping pills is the answer but I’m worried I’d roll over in my sleep!

I feel your pain. Im only 1 day post op but sleeping last night was a struggle :(. Maybe you could try taking cocodamol before bed? Even if your not in pain. They make you sleepy! Xx

Hun, try taking nytol as you don’t want to take anything to strong as the painkillers can really block you up as it is. Also put the v pillow should stop you from moving on your side (I put it behind my head but didn’t put my head on it as I preferred my usual pillow. Also lots of pillow!! I have 6 lol as I am a side sleeper too and I hate sleeping on my back! I’m awake a bit in the night but I am getting 6 hours at least xx
