implants or uplift or both I need help!!

Hi all, you may have seen my previous post but basically i had my heart set on implants alone and Dr Andrea told me I need an uplift aswell as implants and im devastated, its the scars i am terrified of. I arranged to see mr traynor just for a 2nd opinion but cant until the 18th so went to another company today literally just for their opinion and they said I could have an uplift but that I would be perfectly happy with implants and will acheive what i want! So iv posted some pics (as embarrassed as i am) and wondered *hoping* if theres anyone out there perhaps with similar shape/stats to me who went ahead with just implants and could share their thoughts/photos? Or just any thoughts from any of you in general is much appreciated as I cannot make this decision! Thank you all 🙂

Hi your the same as me, same shape etc I’m wanting just implants without uplift I’m looking for help advice etc x

To make matters worse i saw another surgeon today elsewhere and they advised me not to get an uplift as im only 26 and still want kids in the future, said id be wasting money as id need another one in the future and that ill be more than pleased with implants alone and said id be fine with bigger ones (425)… so stuck!

I’m seeing another surgeon on Monday in hoping he’s happy to put me implants in without uplift as its a lot to go through especially when your not achieveing what you was wanting, though I understand what there saying.

I just want bigger boobs really lol at least a DD, and want to acheive a nicer side boob, im not particularly bothered about them being under my chin lol but i obviously dont want to end up with golf balls in socks kinda look! I do totally see why dr andrea is suggesting the uplift makes sense but i do want more kids and dont want to go through 2 uplifts as i know ill need one on the future!

And sorry the surgeon today reckons 425 overs alone will give me at least a nice DD/E from a saggy none existant C/D lol

I’m just the same as you, I would go with implants and fill up what you have .
I’m not having anymore children as I have 3 but still want to avoid uplift, so hoping I get offered implants to make me DD/E

Ellie how did you’re other consultation go? I’ve now seen 4 surgeons lol. 2 said uplift + small implants, 1 said he would happily do implants alone, 1 said he suggests benelli lift and implants… first iv heard of that procedure though so not keen on that one! I have 2 more on monday.. one is elsewhere and one is with mr traynor. If they both say i need lifts i dont think im gonna go ahead. I really dont want a lift but because they all want to give me one ot makes me doubt the surgeon who is willing to do inplants alone. If mr traynor suggest implants alone I’ll probably go with him though! Hope you got a good outcome from todays meeting!

Hi Ladies, I had exactly the same predicament and MYA insisted a lift and 250cc implants. I went to a local hospital with a local surgeon in the end because I couldn’t keep taking time off work to attend second opinions etc and to be honest I found a great surgeon I trusted as he was recommended to me by a surgeon I had for another procedure in 2002. Anyway the short version is he said I was borderline a lift and thought I’d love my result with implants alone to fill up the loose skin. I went for 320cc overs – he insisted I had to have overs to stop the double bubble! I love my results from an empty A (barely) to a full D/DD. I had teardrop implants and they look so natural I feel like I haven’t had a boob job! No downtime (well 2 days of taking it easy) and I’m now 12 weeks post op… Love my results and so so glad I didn’t go for an uplift. They say implants last on average 10 years so come 10 years I’ll possibly have an uplift then (if I feel I need it) but for now I’m enjoying my results. Just also to say that at the beginning I really just wanted a simple procedure and the uplift advice was a real kick in the gut. No my boobs weren’t perfect, nipples too big and a bit low and they are still the same, although the nipples don’t look so big as the boobs are bigger and they are basically now a larger version of what I had but not empty sacks of skin. Go with your hearts ladies and good luck – I’m sure you will make the right decision x

Thank you Lisa! I’m hoping Mr Traynor thinks the same would work for me! Were yours anything like mine at all pre op? Transfrom suggested I get a lift and was on the verge of agreeing to implants but said my nipple placement would just look too weird! Harley medical were totally fine with giving me just implants alone but hes the only one so far thats been fine with it so I dont know if hes just trying to get work or if hes more confident and knows he will ace it! So difficult! Id love to see some before/after photos if you wouldnt mind sharing? Xx

Hi Leanne, I haven’t uploaded any after pics yet but I hope to get around to doing so next week after my 12 week check as I want to ask my surgeon for some of the before pics as I didn’t take any. MYA asked me to see another of their surgeons for a second opinion as I was borderline an uplift. Because my nipples were facing out not down my surgeon said I didn’t need an uplift. In fact the implant itself has highered my nipple placement a bit (not a lot) so that was a bonus. In an ideal world if I was looking for perfect (in my head perfect as nothing is perfect) then maybe an uplift and implants would have been nearer perfect. Just look at it this way – if you look in the mirror and you can live with what you have already but fuller then why have an uplift? I’m not a surgeon and you might have different reasons/anatomy to me but we look similar but I had much less breast tissue than you (I think). I’ll upload asap…… Good luck x

Just out of interest – have you tried a non cosmetic clinic surgeon? My surgeon doesn’t work for a cosmetic clinic and I liked that about him.

Thanks, i will keep an eye out for your pics! Great to see some people borderline are having success with implants alone! I dont really know how to find a non cosmetic surgeon, my only tactic is searching for companies, I know Mr Mahadev from harley medical (the one who is happy to do implants alone) does work for the NHS doing reconstruction etc but I cant find that much about his work online. I dont know whether he is super confident and will do amazing job or if he just want a job! X

I don’t need uplift can have implants not too big cos of ripping so offered me 375cc unders high profile
So Iv booked and paid
20th may in his own clinic over night
I’m so happy can’t wait ??

Ah ellie thats amazing chuffed for you! You dont even have long to wait either thats great! Fingers crossed I have similar news on Monday but I just dont see it happening lol ? x
