Hi girls. I know im probably freaking out over nothing because I am a worry wart. I only had my surgery yesterday. I left feeling fine just very sore and tender. I had quite a bad night waking up about every 45 mins an all day I’ve been in agony. I keep getting very sharp, stinging, burning sensations in the same place. Also my left boob is in a lot more pain. I can’t see much because I’m all strapped up but ive noticed a round puffy pocket on the top of my left boob and it really stings on occasions. Has anyone had this and is it normal? Also I can hardly move without help, my fiancĂ© is Having to hold my glass of water whilst I drink through a straw because I have no strength in my arms. It’s so frustrating. Has anyone had this? Xxx

I didn’t have strapping or no puffy pocket but my right boob was worse and the pain was pretty bad and any movements made that pain worse xx

Thanks @lauren1991 it’s reassuring to know I’m not the only one. Did your pain stop after about a week? Xxx

I wouldn’t say it stopped but it got a lot better. I was thinking it wasn’t worth the pain in the first week but it was much better by day five. My worst day would be yours tomorrow. I threw up and the pain was pretty bad but it gets better xx

That’s exactly him I’m feeling right now. It’s out me at ease knowing its onwards and upwards from around day 4. Did you feel sick before then or did it just come on all of a sudden? How are you feeling now and when dos youngster your surgery? Xx

I was in pain as soon as I came round from my op day one was a little worse and day two was by far the worst. I had the whole packet of cocodomol and was taking ibuprofen too. Nothing was touching my pain. The cocodomol before bed helped. I don’t no if it was the tablets or the pain that made me sick. I’m now five weeks post op and my pain is pretty much gone I get weird twinges now and again and can ly abit more comfortable but this has only got better from 4 weeks for me xx

Girls I’m a week post op and I’m still in a lot of pain and discomfort. I felt exactly the same as both of you. I’m very surprised by how difficult my recovery has been so far as I thought I had a really good pain threshold and so many girls said they found it ok. I feel like the weight of the implants is sooooo straining and I feel like I’m carrying around bowling balls! They are so heavy and my back and neck are killing me. I feel as though they are rock solid and like they are trying to force themselves off me like they aren’t part of my body. I think they look amazing and I’m really pleased but instead of feeling sexy I feel really frumpy and uncomfortable at the mo! I’m guessing I’ve just got to be patient as I’m nowhere near healed plus I have fluid build up on one boob which I need to use ice on to get it to go down.
I hope it gets easier for you @Abi but you deffo aren’t alone! As horrible as it sounds it’s nice to know I’m not the only one! Xx

Just remember Hun that you had I.v. Morphine in theatre, plus the anesthetic which was why you felt okay straight after! As you slept, both have worn off! Take regular paracetamol, ibuprofen and use ice packs! Take your codeine if you need to, but be wary of constipation and take laxatives or high fibre foods so that you aren’t in even more discomfort! By day 4 the tightness had eased a bit! I had a horrible shooting pain in one of my incisions for about a week, I was convinced the wound was wide open but it was just the bruising, that will come up in a day or so! Every feeling is normal right now, don’t worry!! Hope this helps xx

Hi @harrietb and @ashytonnn thank you so much. You’ve both made me feel a lot better and you’re right Harriet. It’s nice to know there’s other languages out there that are going through the same lol! I think I may have fluid build up on the top of my left boob. Does it feel really tender and squashy? I’m not due to head back home until tomorrow so will put an ice pack on it straight away. Thanks again girls. I needed the reassurance, been feeling really low today xxx

Did you have unders or overs? I was up and about that same day and stopped pain relief the second day absolutely fine, but I have a really high pain threshold and had over the muscles (was driving by day 5). Everyone’s different Hun but it will get better x I was just stupidly lucky.

Hi @lyndseyp27 I’m so envious of your recovery. I had partials so I expected to be in some discomfort but not to this extent. I had a better night last night then I did the first. I’m hoping its onwards and upwards from here. I think as soon as I’m home and can get some ice on them, that will hopefully relieve the stinging swollen sensation I’m having xxx

You just have to remember that every day it will get better – one day you’ll wake up absolutely fine and that will make you love your new twinnies even more! X

@Abi you will start to feel better soon, day 4 and 5 I was feeling better. I got to day 6 and was back at my desk job and driving, but I did get to week 4 and one boob was in a lot of pain. I’m now 2 months post op, back in the gym and loving my new boobs!

Hey @Abi hope you are feeling a little better. The fluid build up feels like it’s all puffy up in my armpit and it’s a funny sensation and I’m more aware of it when I move about. It aches directly in one area on the side.
It does feel a bit better today now I’ve had the strapping removed.

    @Lyndsey
I always remember reading your posts and it stuck in my head how easy your recovery was. I was hoping I’d be the same!
I’m back to work tomorrow but I’m on my feet 9hours a day as I’m a salon manager ? I’m going to sit down if I need to and just take it super slow.
Hope it’s getting easier for you Hun xx

    Hi @vil86
Sorry to hear your having a hard time, it’s the worst feeling isn’t it. Mine began to ease off day 4 – 5 but even now I still need help up if I’ve been in bed and my left boob is still more painful and larger than my right. I saw the nurse yesterday to have my check up and strapping removed. A lot of my discomfort was coming from the strapping, it had been wrapped so tight it had dug in my skin and give me blood blisters! She said the pain I’m feeling is normal at this stage and to treat each boob as different operation. Hope this helps but any questions please get in touch ? Xx
