I had my strapping removed last friday and my left incision hadn’t quite healed yet so the nurse put another dressing on the left incision and said leave it on for a week then remove it and it should have sealed up by the. I am just wondering when I remove the dressing do I need to wipe it over with an antiseptic wipe?
Also when I have removed it can I shower as normal apart from getting anything in my incisions. I have read girls still washing hair over the shower to make sure shampoo doesn’t get in the incisions… I just want to shower normally again!!
