incision pain

Hi girls

I’m 6 days post op and so far have had an okay recovery.

I swapped my cocodamol for naproxen at the start of the week as they were messing with my.stomach and since then everything has been pretty easy going

However since last night my incisions have been so sore. Especially my right one. It feels like the strapping is digging into them and I can barely move. Painkillers is barely touching it.

Is this normal girls I’m quite concerned xx

I’m exactly the same, I’m definitely ready for the strapping to come off! So uncomfortable! Hope you feel better soon flower xox

Ah thanks huni you too! I deff think the strapping is causing more discomfort than its worth now. The temptation to rip it all off is unbearable lol. Just one more day! X

I know! So jealous of you haha! I asked the nurse if I could move it forward but she said Monday was fine 🙁 eee I’m a worrier too I’ll be a bundle of nerves on Monday! You’ll have to let me know how it goes tomorrow 🙂 x

Hi ladies I’m having my strapping off tomorrow day 5 post op due to being at work Monday and I can’t wait… I’ve also had a onus and needles sensation in my scarring area and I’m told this is the nerves trying to reconnect that they cut through!! I hope this us the case as I still have no feeling in my side boob :-/ roll on “strapping free” day hey ladies xxxxx

I can’t wait for strapping free day I’m hoping it stops my incisions being so sore. I can barely move today x

My incisions are really hurting too , day 3 post op and I’m not into much pain if I’m just sat still but as soon as move arms just getting the pains in the incisions like its pulling the skin! Looking forward to it getting better soon ! X

When are you girls due your stiches out? I’m 9 days post op xxx

Hi girls I’m 12 days po and my incisions are still painful! I took my strapping off on day 4 as I was told I could made me feel so much better, call your nurse if it’s unbearable and ask if you can take it off, some surgeons do t even use strapping x x

Strapping is coming off tomorrow thank god. El I’m not sure huni I assume I will find that out tomorrow will let you know when I do. My incisions are tight and pulling I’m hoping it’s just healing going on x x

I thought they were dissolvable??
