Initial Consultation with MYA

Hi folks,

I’m new to this forum. I’m just after a bit of advice.

I’ve had an initial consultation with another company* the other day, and was left a little deflated at how difficult it was to see a specific surgeon on certain dates for an initial consultation with the surgeon (once a month at each clinic only), which matched up with my ability to take annual leave for the surgery. I work in a very restricted environment where time off is almost impossible.

Are the surgeons relatively flexible, or do MYA allow you do visit other clinics in order to see a surgeon for an initial consultation?

I have my initial consultation with MYA this afternoon in Leeds and just wonder how people (pre-op) have viewed their different experiences between the two companies?

Hi huni how did you get on I had my consult Saturday in Birmingham. I just got told one surgeon who they think will suit and my date to see him is 20th June when he will be in next x

MYA were incredibly flexible after I told them about my experience at Transform. I have managed to get a surgeon consultation in at Transform in July for someone that should line up with my leave dates in November for work. MYA haven’t released their surgeons dates yet so haven’t been able to make any progress. I’m going to see Mr Mahdi, who apparently work(ed) with MYA as well as Transform so he must be decent!
