Is this normal?

Hey ladies,

I had my op 8 weeks ago and today and have just started my 4th period in that time! Is this normal? Has anyone else had this or similar and when will it end. Can’t put up with having them a week long every second week – its ridiculous!

Didn’t happen to me, however I’m on the pill. Are you on the pill? Sounds like a total pain. Maybe it’s just your body getting over the drugs and surgery? Apart from that how you doing? X

Hey hun I was on my period the day of my liposuction surgery but that was because I came off the pill ready for surgery
then due to surgery it stopped but came back on
like 3 days after and have had my latest period which was my proper one just finished a week
ago and haven’t had anything since :). I think it’s like Leigh said maybe our bodies getting over the anaesthetic
and you know what periods are like!! bloody mother nature!

I had to stop the pill to have my op but after my first proper period afterwards (the 2nd one) I went back on it but have since had 2 more periods! Argh it’s so frustrating! Xx

This didn’t happen to me, intact I was the opposite and took ages to come on! Was really late. I think surgery causes havoc with your body so I think it can go either way! Why don’t u go on the pill to regulate it, couldn’t be arsed with coming on as regular as that! Such an inconvenience!! I hate it once a month as it is!! Sometimes I just go straight thru on pills coz I don’t want it lol. Not good xxx
